Who's to say that the Bills won't bring in any players from the UFL once their season is completed?

I think he's earned the chance to be the Kicker for another season. If he screws up, then you can seriously consider getting another Kicker. That's all. Let me ask you, who is this more dependable version of a Kicker that the Bills can get? You obviously have a player in mind, no?

Bass is in the lower rung of the top Kickers when it comes to Field Goals. However, he is one of the best when it comes to Extra Points. No question that he can be a lot better at field goals. I'm just willing to give him another season before thinking of replacing him.

Operative word being "should". Not every Kicker is going to be automatic.

I don't think that Bass is this glaring problem on the Bills that a lot of fans are making him out to be. He's not the reason that we lost that playoff game to the Chiefs. Did anyone see our defense in that game? Yes, field goals were an issue last season, yet I just chalk that up to Bass having a down year, it happens. That does not mean that he can't rebound from it. Bass is still very good when it comes to Extra Point attempts, which is a key statistic that everyone overlooks. Extra Points are no longer chip shots. I'm comfortable with giving Bass more leeway, because I think he can do good for us. I'm not going to dismiss him. As far as Special Teams goes, I'm more concerned about Punter than I am Kicker.

Do you think he can rebound? So, are you saying that Bass is done as a Kicker? His career is over and the Bills should get rid of him this season?

Overall, I think he's been a very good Kicker for us. People here saying that we desperately need a new Kicker on the team is a big overreaction. I think that it's fair to give Bass another chance. Also, he's 205/210 on XP attempts. That's pretty good considering that extra points are no longer "chip shots" anymore.

Then on game day at a crucial point in the game he reports as an eligible receiver and catches a touchdown pass. "TOUCHDOWN BILLS, BY BILLS!!!"

I would be too, which is why I am not in panic mode over Bass. A number of fans actually believe we lost the Chiefs playoff game because of Bass. They obviously did not watch that game. Has Bass really hit the wall? After one unspectacular season?

I'm still not concerned about Bass. Let's see how he does this season, then go from there.

I saw Brady have a lot more game winning Field Goal drives than Touchdown drives. Also helps when the refs are in your back pocket too.

Terrell Owens & Antoine Winfield Owens was a difference maker. I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned Winfield. He was better than Clements.

I get your point. It's just that all I'm looking for are players who are reliable receivers. I don't care about a players ceiling when we are looking at a 4th or 5th receiver option. If they can get the job done, I'm happy, because I doubt that these receivers we are signing to 1 year deals are a part of the long-term plans for the team. Then again, I could be wrong.

You got that right. I still muse that the Bills could've had Van Jefferson or Donovan Peoples-Jones. Both are young and have good experience and would not have cost that much to sign. I find these two receivers to be better options than Cephus or Claypool. That being said, I'll give both Cephus & Claypool a chance. They are both low risk signings.

If only we had his son on the active roster, then he would've been forced to sit in the stands of the Ralph wearing Bills gear.
