He hasn't proven he can play in this league yet. Winfield and Clements did in their first year right away. Even if those 2 missed all of TC, they still would've played alot even if they were not starters by year's end (as they both were). Kiwaukee and Nate are both gone, so the probabilit that we take a CB in the 1st round is very high. You got to remember that McGee isn't a #1 either so that makes it even more pertinent.

Not to crap on anyone's parade here but we already have a similar receiver. If we got him, I wouldn't cry about it tho but it's not gonna happen. P.S., I guess nobody else but me notices those "grandmotherly" attempts at tackling there. At least 50% of those attempts were horrible or non existent. Easy, the LB's. DB's who play in this scheme play zone most of the time and not 1 on 1. The backers need to cover alot more than the secondary and have many more assignments to ponder.

If we want to win more than 7 games this year, the D has to improve drastically--particularly the against the run--and we can't miss a beat in the secondary now that Nate is gone. I highly doubt this very much. I get the feeling we're drafting Hall and Youboty can't be a bust now that he's starting.

CB and MLB have yet to be filled. I was hoping we'd keep Nate but this defense will struggle all year unless Youboty proves to be just as good as Winfield or Clements when they were rookies.
