    He was placed on the waived-injured list. I thought players lost to injury were put on IR directly. We don't know what we have in him but it would be a shame to lose him to another team. I got the feeling he would be a key contributor on teams and improve on our ranking last year. Having Fletcher busting the wedge was HUGE when he was here; we were at the top then.

    Don't worry, he's not that stupid to holdout becuz he knows the team still owns him the next 3 years. Sitting at home and not cashing in is not where his agent wants him. If he doesn't show up for September, then we should hold on to his rights and not trade him!!! Let him waste his HOF career away in stupidity.

    Not sure but if it's anything that Wyche ran in Cincinnati during their run then I'd say yes. He was mentored by none other than the now departed Bill Walsh before assuming the head post for the Bengals in the early 80's.

    I see Peters reporting to TC and playing out this year on this current contract. Management will then give him the payoff he seeks if he makes another PB.

    I would think that they all should. You never know who'll become a staple of the team core. McGee wasn't a 1st round pick IIRC.
