  1. I liked Wright last year but he's sure giving the coaches lots of proof to give him the pink slip. Sorry but you can't fumble every game. Right now, only Lynch and Jackson are worthy of making the roster at RB. Omon hasn't impressed me yet.
  2. I don't see it that way but then again he has helped us some. Remember, throughout his career he has been known as a run blocking TE. He has never put up gaudy numbers receiving anywhere. It's great our QB's do have a smart outlet in Royal in the short passing game that can get us out of jams.
  3. No way. I think Peterson rushes to the MVP this year.
  4. 4? There are only 3 urls posted.
  5. You don't trade a future All-Pro LT for a mediocre lineman straight up. That is just assinine! Include some high draft picks in there and maybe...........
  6. Fuddy duddy. Perhaps a trade is immenent to the Vikings, per Jason's agent request.
  7. Don't forget most of the membership here also ran Ruben Brown out of town. A couple of years later he was the starting LG on the Bears SB team.
  8. My gripes again are the FG's in the red zone and thus losing again. Omon and Wright had limited carries but both fumbled which also contributed to the loss.
  9. Somebody should saved that for the inevitable trolls who like to frequent this board. Nevermind, just pin it to the top. Hehe
  10. Yes. But remember he played against their scrubs and this coming from a big JP fan. TE and the starters couldn't do anything in the 1st quarter. But I blame this on lack of a running game, thus the OL and RB's. And attempting nothing but FG's in the red zone once again.
  11. Wow. I don't get how so many want to cut Greer after his performance last year. If you thought he sucked then what does that make Youboty who COULDN'T unseat him???!!! Jabari has secured his starting spot in the D for years to come.
  12. I'm with you there. Having Brett here makes us a playoff contender IMHO but we need to stockpile for the future. The O-line needs more work particularly the right side. Sounds like a broken record sadly.
  13. GMTA. Roscoe is explosive on teams and I don't he gets cut for that reason alone.
  14. Wow. IMO, Reed doesn't belong on an NFL roster. For a possession receiver, he sorely lacks in productivity.
  15. Drops are never in season bud. And you must've missed the past few preseasons as a matter of fact. I can tell you the last 3 years we settled for alot of FG's in the red zone and lo and behold it carried into the regular season. This was a major reason we couldn't score many points haven't been to the playoffs. On top of that, the run D was positively atrocious. One other thing, stupid penalties should NEVER occur at home games (i.e., false starts, encroachment/off sides, delays of game, personal fouls, illegal motions, etc). If those problems aren't corrected very soon, don't expect a winning year.
  16. If you're really happy we sucked and will continue to suck then you are no Bills fan buddy. Some of already know our ineptitude isn't solely placed on the QB. Wise up.
  17. I'm glad I'm not the only one to notice the deficiencies at the RG position. IIRC, I don't think we drafted a OL in April. If things don't improve on O the next 3 weeks, all leverage goes to Peters' agent.
  18. I'm the biggest JP fan here but in all fairness he didn't play against starters on D. The fact that we didn't have much a running game speaks volumes bout the line and RB's. The QB should not be the one to carry the load. We can't keep settling for FG's or we'll be hard pressed to win 7 games again. On that pass attempt, it was Hardy's fault for not making the right read, Trent can't be blamed. Kelly: that's why I believe we need to incorporate Roscoe more into the offense. A rookie at WR is going to struggle all year and can't be relied on in the clutch. Parrish hasn't been given a fair chance yet.
  19. I'm with you on the Parrish there, bud. We still haven't unleashed him properly, IMHO. I apologize to McGee but Roscoe should be the one to handle both kicking duties along with Leodis. We can't afford to lose a starting corner to injury on teams. Props to Ashton for making a statement and hopefully he'll improve and makes the roster. A Buckeye defensive back has proven invaluable in the NFL (per our very own experience).
  20. Toe. Lots of it. *smacks lips hungrily*
  21. Wish I could be there. Phoenix ain't that far from here. Plus, I know a guy who works the security detail inside the stadium.
  22. Wait a minute here! If he will suck, then you need to take everything into account. My guess would be we have no running game and thus putrid blocking on pass attempts or receivers continually dropping balls. Very rarely can you blame a loss or ineptitude on just one person in a team sport!
  23. I was going to post this very same reply. Instead of +2 here, it could be very well -2. IMO, the playoffs hinge on our performances against division rivals and road games.
  24. That makes sense. Max: are you sure that 100% of his salary is guaranteed? Both of you make good points, however.
