    Remember the board geniuses who also proclaimed that Marv got taken when he selected Whitner as our 1st round pick? They also passed judgment on McCargo as well but he hasn't played much to know what type of player we have.

    It's not just him. Credit should go to his blockers too. If McGee had better blocking than last year, he'd not only bust a few more but he'd have a higher return average.

    Giving up a 1st and 3rd would be a disaster!!! The only way it would turn out great for us if he breaks all of Thurman's HOF numbers. Does anybody see this happening?

    He would be the perfect pick for us. Unless of course, Peterson was still available at #12.

    We only missed TV because he was truly a teacher/mentor to Lee. The new safeties were upgrades and we pretty much all knew that. We won't miss the LB"s that much because neither was producing like they once did. We will, however, miss Nate most of all this year. I don't see McGee nor Youboty as being upgrades here.

    Because we need to enjoy him now that we have him. When his contract is up, he'll ask for big money and although we should re-sign him, we won't.

    LMAO, how could that be wrong? Bringing in a guy who starts right away, does better than expected, and will play the next 10 years with us at a very high level. We need more picks like this to get us to a SB.

    I'd be very surprised if we took a RB in the 1st round. I think we are leaning towards a defensive pick.

    None of the sites reporting the re-signing have even mentioned this. Yahoo is pretty good at getting the numbers but not this time.
