To put it succinctly, it was supposed to be a variant of the "Tampa Cover 2". It was executed badly as our defensive ranking shows. You need a NT or 2 DT to bring the pressure of the middle and Lord knows we've been missing that for years. Our run D was absolutely atrocious.
