  1. I've got to meet him. He was my favorite SB-era Bill.
  2. I saw that game on the tube. DB's first game as a Bill opening day 2002. Man, what if...........
  3. When I saw that highlight, memories of Tim Tindale (1995 playoff game vs. Mijami) came to mind.
  4. I, for one, certainly don't think their season is doomed. They way too much talent on that team. Both sides of the line are already playoff calibur and nothing has really changed that. Except they lost their emotional leader which could be huge but I doubt they're ready to fold with so much on the line now.
  5. LOL! What a thread. Many on this board have secretly hoped for his demise. Maybe all that negative energy caused his illness.
  6. He can't complain about being pulled. He knows how bad he's played. It's annoying to hear his post game remarks. Sounds like a broken record about what he needs to do and come the following Sunday but utterly fails to improve. I.E., "I need to stop being so hesitant". Next Sunday his hesitancy is worse than before. JP needs to realize that he's still a rookie who needs another year of grooming.
  7. Both safeties have given up huge chunks of yardage in those losses when passes were made over the middle. Have they both lost a step? Fez and I have been pointing out the detriment that is the O line but get treated like children for bringing it up. Willis got fed up with it too. Coaching can only go so far.
  8. If Preston is smart like some claim, why not keep him at center?
  9. No. The D has already given up 14 points in the second half already. It looked it was ready to lay down for 7 more. I don't think we won this game as much as Mijami handed it to us in the end.
  10. Other than Chad Johnson, there aren't any other receivers on that roster that would scare you.
  11. Teams played well today. Nice to see McGee return one a long way. It's too bad we couldn't do anything with it tho.
  12. I'm all for it. But I think our problems go deeper than the QB position. JP was a rookie, regardless of what the media think of him, and it was ludicrous to expect playoff caliber performances this year. However, once it's been determined that we are no longer a playoff team, then JP should start the remainder of the games and get him some experience that he can build on for next year. Then, we should address both sides of the line.
  13. That pass wasn't that bad. He had to throw it to the outside shoulder; if he hadn't, then it could've been picked off by the corner/safety on his hip at the time. Just wait for the highlights later and you'll see for yourselves. You have to credit that defender putting that lick on Keyshawn tho, he was going to break up that pass somehow. It was a fluke that it stayed in the air for the return TD fumble recovery.
  14. My bad. And yes it is on where I live. I should've said his efforts cummulatively this season.
  15. This is the reason behind the change: ask yourself 2 questions. 1. Are we rebuilding this year and stick with JP so he can learn? OR 2. Are we playing for the playoffs? See how simple it is. Once we have been removed from contention, I really think JP should start to get his reps in. God knows he needs as many as he can get before next year.
  16. Some of us have been saying that for years now and we get blasted or called out because they think we have an agenda. Changing QB's has done nothing to improve and the line coach can only do so much with the talent he's given. Offensive ineptitude can't be pinned on just one player because it never is all his fault. We really need another DT who can totally stop the run or become a pass rushing force.
  17. It's sad that all "journalists" who allow call-ins do that. Not all of them do but it's gotta be in the 90% range. Why bother to listen to any of them if you won't listen or have your own mind made up already.
  18. I don't think MM was skirting the issue. He hasn't had time to sit down with TD and the offensive coaching staff to make a decision yet.
  19. Heck, we didn't have nearly enough play action last year and it surprised me why we don't bother to employ it at all now.
  20. He sees nothing but double teams now--very little he can do by himself.
  21. We got some weapons on offense to score points now except for a very green QB so we need to concentrate on finding lineman who can pass/run block and a D line that can generate a rush on its own.
  22. We really need to improve on both sides of the trenches to be able to have a winning season.
  23. DB is leading his team but he's not ripping teams apart! All the credit goes to his line, RB, and WR who don't drop balls in their vicinity. More evidence about our VERY suspect line.
