  1. i am a newby - please accept and love me like you love yourself. hugs and kisses?
  2. did the d.o.d. say that this card is the #3 in pak or the #3 overall of their perverse outfit? this guy hanging upsidedown in some basement in jordan right now.
  3. he called henry: "mr. travis, you fumble, can't pick up blitzes, sexually deviant, butter-hands out of the backfield, jamal lewis was 50x better than you as a Vol., can't get to the second level of tacklers due to no speed and injury prone henry."
  4. 1. to allow players to hold out as they choose, is like letting the inmates run the jail; 2. the agents are the puppeteers here, so they are the ones who get the players to do their will; 3. while it is a business (and player must be paid for how good they are) it is the team that takes the chance on a guy and teaches him the game, and lets BRETT FAVRE (the best) throw to him and then creates a contract with him and build the player up as a person (as a 22 yr old). so players should shut the phuck up and play out their contracts and other players with integrtiy like favre (10 + yr vet) should be able to voice their views re: greed, tackyness and etc. favre has seen A TON of his fellow all pro leave the bay and the league is getting watered down by this - free agenting. look at baseball - which is a sham. guy hitting 250% get $10 million! think the nfl agents want MLB type money? yup...
  5. yeah, willis added 10 pound of muscle post knee rip. so he looked like a haus in space. but his game speed is the same as it was at miami. jason tayor - miami DT stated that he could not believe how fast and powerful mcgahee was - after willis ran him over on one of many plays to his side. you can't arm tackle #23. willis reminds me of fred taylor who can take hit at the POA and also get to the outside and to the second level to shed tackles and gain extra yardage behind WR blocking. if he works on his pass catching, he will top 2,000 total yards this season and be the starting pro bowl RB along with jamal l.
  6. yeah, while walker is a top 5 WR in the league and being paid crap - i love that favre called him out. great to see a peer put the pressure on yet another greedy as$whip money monger robot of a lawyer scum agent. favre's last season and he wants his team all together. i hope his OL can protect him - with their losses...
  7. boss was a great boss. lulu is my cousin.
  8. to compare him to palmer is dumb. JP is not in palmers arm class - but palmer is not in JP's scrambling class. palmer throws a perfect ball and is jim kelly PART II. JP is a run for your life - exiciting live on the edge scrambler. cincy and the bills are similiar in offenses and coaching, so i see where the guy picks palmer and JP to compare. rudy = willis, chad j = moulds, there hodgepodge OL = our hodgepodge OL, they have a white speed edge high motor rusher smith, we have shoebel; but our defense is stouter and we got better depth all over the field. masky is tony cornheiser's boy.
  9. you got 8 posts in 3 years?!?!?!? good lord. you go up river or something?
  10. mmm, hasek was great too. but yeah, gil was the best. talk about a class act!
  11. butch rolle was in for a look today - according to mike degeorgeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  12. i hear phil mickelson took this bet. maybe he can win another $450k like he did on the ravens 35-1 odds years ago?
  13. exactly, henry is a fumbler. he can't block on max protection. not a natural catcher. can't get to the second level to break off long gains and therefore is a 2 down back. i love his hard nosed style - but give me a break, sammy morris can run over lbs and safetys on occasion too.
  14. interesting. if i was a TE coming to buffalo, i would take out insurance on my ACLs. paging DR. andrewsssssssssssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!
  15. HENRY could not carry NAJEH DAVENPORT's jock....
  16. indeed, players try to identify with the fans now. used to be, watch me on the field and you will love me. now, with the agent generated press releases, it is "i am like you, buy my jersey, help me pressure management to sign me for more." the 'blue collar' card is overused in buffalo. how many time are the sabres players, that they trade for, called hard nosed, etc, etc, etc. he fits the mold, he is one of us, he wears zubas, he drinks genny cream ale, etc. let JP do his talking on the field. i hope he does, we will see. he has the cast to do so.
  17. i would have to see some stats and numbers, that "the people who frequent this board, especially in May, tend to be supporters of the team." is there data on this? the comment seems contrived somewhat. as fans we are to analyze such commentary and hash it out. these guys make millions for this type of hazing by us. look at poor giambi.
  18. i am not sure what terms are overused in society. i would have see polls on that. however, to say something "is probably the most overused term in our society" seems like an overused phase to me. ah, the titans game was amazing, johnson ran for his life. fina was dinged up. the right side of the line looked like this: C – Jerry Ostroski; RG – Dusty Zeigler; RT – M. Spriggs. kearse was running wild. titans at home on their field. johnson managed a good game anyway you look at it.
  19. hey, defending johnson is a losing arguement, no crap. but that drive was excellent. go watch the film on that game and then type some more. the rest of his career was bruttal - no kidding. helen keller could make that analysis. but really, that game was great and if we had won, who knows how far we would have went. remember the offensive line injuries? that roster was pathetic and butler had given phillips a bunch of scubs to work with. but this post is about JP, not rob johnson.
  20. no, you are right, they all play for money. that is negative, i guess. but true. agents and lawyers pull the strings and the players are little dancing muppets for them. did you see Willis's comment recently??? something like, i'll stay in buffalo - if they pay me? it is sad, but sport is greed. "it is a business" is the mantra. sure , maybe there a few old famr boys who play for the game, but most are want the cash.
  21. mcbride - Johnson hit Price for like a 30 yard TD. Kearse was unblockable and got to Johnson for a sack - but we had NO RIGHT TACKLE that game (hicks injured?) Johnson then led the team on a game-winning march to the Tennessee 23, thanks to a 14-yard pass to Price, a 12-yard run by Jonathan Linton and a 9-yard pass to Price. On the play before the final completion to Price, Johnson lost his shoe and was unable to replace it because the clock was ticking down but still executed the crucial play shoeless.
