  1. Ah, Baltimroe has the best in the league. Then Philly. Then Pats - when healthy. Then Pitt. Then Buffalo. We got big names, but no playoffs and no turnovers to carry the offense for 2 or 3 games that would have made the difference.
  2. i credit TD for a good record in a hard division. the afc east is hard - no matter what. willis mcgahee is our differnce maker and horse we will ride. he is the real deal and can carry us ala jamal lewis for balt. we need a few more parts at TE, LB depth, left guard and WR and WB and we are ready to compete versus NEngland. losman must be tried out. TD had nothing when he got here. butler had run the organization into the ground. we are ready to start now...
  3. i say we keep him. 17 gamesw plus preseason is a long haul for any back, especially one like willis who will see 30 touches per game. we will need travis healthy. shaud williams aint travis henry.
  4. drew is done in this league. in the last 6 years the league has goen to fast, edge and speed rushing defenses. the hydrid 46s are everywhere with blitzing and pressure on the qb all game long. no one sits in walt cory's old cover 2 non-pressure zones anymore. the athletes on def. are jsut to good now. the preparation and specialist are there too. hence, drew being a statute is done. the league requires a qb to be outright mobile or have footwork or suttle pocket pressence to make a play last 1 or 2 more seconds per snap. manning and rothelsberger get the job done on recongnition and suttle foot work and etc. losman will start this fall and will take the pressure off the line and let the WR have more time to free up down field.
  5. that is fine. they can sign him to a 5 year deal at orlando pace like money and he will be injured every other game for 4 years and then healthy and all pro for the contract last year of his 5 year deal like he did here in bflo. he is a premadona...
  6. Team needs a 3rd WR. Pitt's offense with Randel El and the Pat's with Branch or Givens are dynamic on 3rd down. Reed is just not dynamic in that spot. Donahue expected Reed to be like Crebet or Stokely, but the former Tiger is far to slow for the slot position which requires him to beat nickel and dime coverage. Moulds is still solid and Evans looks like a force. Moulds sees double coverage and rolling cover 2 coverage every passing down. Mularky must use Moulds like he used Hynes Ward in Pitt. and have Evans stretch the field ala Burress.
  7. 1. A middle linemen. The middle of our line is mush. Danien Woody could have been HAD! CV is a spare-part, like Panos was. 2. Charlie Weis as our head coach. Why did we pass on him? MM is a joke. A rookie coach with limited experience as an off. corr. A former TE block head. The bootleg was laughable... 3. Coy Wire off the team. CArmell Lake was found by TD as a college LB and made an all pro safety. We have no pass rush or rod woodson to make that happen with Wire. The science test is over, he is a special teams player only. 4. MW moved to guard. Price is better than him, is this impossible to see? 5. DEpth at CB. Troy Vincent is one of the most overpaid injury prone players to every play corner in the afc east IMHO. What was TD thinking on this pick-up? It was a matter of time before he suffered a lower leg injury. Plus he ruined JP's rookie season. 6. THe team practicing turnovers. Grays defense can't generate pics, fumbles, sacks, negative yardage plays. bend but dont break walt corey system only works if you have the K GUN offense out there and james lofton runnnig 80 yard skinny posts every other series.
  8. On the lindell 51 yard attempt, It was a 'gut decision" good coaches dont make gut decisions, they make sound decisions based on percentages and experience. this team and organization has a lot of answering to do. one game into 16 and they are making DUMB mistakes. very suspect
  9. howard schnelanbarger was coaching OSU. they played UM in ann arbor. the team buss ran out of gas on i-75 after the game as the OSU team lost. the were 1 mile from the ohio state line and toledo. coach told the players to get the fu@k out of the buss and push it to Ohio state line and buy their gas, as opposed to the michigan stevestojan gas. they players got out and pushed... great story...
  10. hate to be negative, but i ahve serious problems with this unit. in fact, i have had serious problems with this unit for the past 6 years. Jennings is injury prone. the guy cant stay healthy for anything. his ankles have some odd problem with them. NOt bad when healthy. Can hang with the edge rushers pretty well. Pissullio is useless. he should be a bouncer at some college bar in some small town, not on a nfl field palying against premier de tackles who school him 8/10 times per game. Teague would be great on a WEST coast offense, as he was supposed to on with us. He is not a power center. HE is a chop blocking center with good range who can roll out of his stance well to move with the QB in those systems. He should play out west somewhere, maybe DENVER! vallarie is pretty solid. he will paly 16 games in the trenches and work hard to muck it up. type of player you like to have in the 4th quarter when the players are dead tired and you need the 1 yard on 3rd down. good cold weather player as well. solid lineman. Williams is average. So - SO on pass blocking and so -so on run blocking. cant dominate a game as advertised by Donahoe. he is part of unit, as opposed to being the main part of the unit (ie orlando pace, ogden, roaf, tait)
  11. i would grab a beer with ditka. he would have some stories to tell...
  12. the saints have the best def. line in pro ball. with their offense running the way it does - with so many star players, they could go to the super bowl. fantastic team haslett has put together.
  13. Can Rich sue due to this? could all TBD board members band together as a class action lawsuit and sue google?
  14. will be a distraction to a great defense, that does NOT need him. players rally around ray lewis, now they are supposed to listen to this 'mouth.' deon retired due to mostly injuy problems. he gets knicked up very easily - as his offeseason training is non-existant. the only reason he is back in the league is because mike nolan the ravens DE coor coached deon before and cut the guy a personal deal. deon will coach soon after this...
  15. agree, she is a looker. she had a baby this year. mabye he wants out now? BTW, imagine if he never got injured in the freak play. he could have been great. that knee is shot.
