I agree we seem ready to compete with the top tier now, but I don't think anyone can argue that our starting TE is better than Shockey. Royal and Fine, as much as I hope they really break out this year, have nothing on Shockey.

How do you mean? Danny may have made a big mistake in how he replaced Joe Gibbs, but there is no way the Skins will hold the second worst record in the league, especially not coming out of the NFC. They will be in the NFC's playoff hunt with Taylor knocking around Eli and Homo.

Really, what is the harm in this? If anything, it is a challenge to his teammates. I am all for a challenge. I want the team to have high expectations. I don't want this team to be happy with a 9-7 season that has them cleaning out their lockers right after New Years.
