  1. Thanks, OC. Good report. Glad you made it home safely.
  2. This being a "fan" board, that's pretty much always going to be the case on just about every topic we discuss.
  3. If I recall correctly, and I checked so I know I do, the Bills actually made Schobel report to camp before they gave him more money in response to the big contract they had given Kelsay. Really, it was very much like this situation only Schobel didn't holdout. Also seeing how McGee has been to the Pro Bowl and Evans hasn't, I don't think it is fair to dismiss McGee's re-done contract. Since you're busy, and I understand that, let me ask again, what did you mean when you said Schobel was "very white"?
  4. There. Doing your own research in the future is encouraged.
  5. Astro, where did you get all that info on a back-up lineman? Nice research or something.
  6. Either that, or the whole sleep deprivation, drinking his breakfast and lunch and having not driven in half a decade caught up with him. Really, I hope he is safe and posting updates soon.
  7. It's all good. I hope it is noticed by these guys trying to make connections that aren't there.
  8. You are ignoring the other players the Bills also re-signed. And you are ignoring the fact that the better a player is, the harder it is going to be to for both parties to determine fair market value. Evans is coming off a lack-luster season for a variety or reasons, so it is very difficult to say what he'd get offered by other teams at the end of this year.
  9. And Crowell, Reed, Parrish and as I just posted a few minutes ago, Peters two years ago!
  10. In that case, the Bills went "out of there [sic] way" for -- Reed, Parrish, McGee, Crowell, and even Peters a mere two years ago! Does it mean anything that nine out of 10 picks in year's draft were non-white players, and that their top overallpick the last 16 years are non-white or that pretty much all their top free agent signers for the past several years are non white? You, and the supposed 1billsfan are ignoring a whole lot to try to make a point that just isn't there.
  11. As far as comparing Kelly to Bruce, Thurman and Andre, they all got the same shabby treatment at the end of their time with the Bills. The difference was that Jim chose to retire while the others chose to move onto other teams. Now that it is all over, it seems Jim and Bruce made the best choices then. I don't know about Hull and Tasker.
  12. And what exactly does "very white" mean? He doesn't get much time in the sun?
  13. It may be hard for you to believe, but not everything has to do with race. I do not believe Peters is being mistreated here. Alas, this is just business. I have a feeling this thread is about to go down a destructive path.
  14. Today, the skinnier of the two Mikes in the morning on ESPN, who is a lifelong Jets fan, said he did not see how bringing Favre to New Jersey would make sense. The Jests cannot be considered a QB away from a super run, which makes such a trade unattractive to Favre and means the NJJ would be wasting time they should be using to develop a young QB. All that said, get 'er done Man-genie.
  15. SportingNews reports... But... Lastly, the article still lists us as one of the teams interested in trading for Favre.
  16. Further, Hester is very much competing for a starting WR role. Right now, he is only the kick returner specialist. Meanwhile, Peters is entrenched in his starting job.
  17. Thanks for the info. If I recall correctly, didn't one of our more recent 1st rounders miss the morning session of the first day of camp and make it out for the second session? Let's hope that happens today.
  18. #15 is 6-1 UDFA Jason Jones out of Arkansas-Pine Bluff. Thanks so much for your reports!
  19. Peters reportedly wants a contract between $8 million and $11.5 million per season in a contract extension.
  20. McCargo worked with the first team in Williams' absence, according to CB.
  21. Williams was excused as his wife just had their second child. Congrats to the Williams family!
  22. Is saw that poll today, too, and thought they gave us picks that weren't that great. I am most interested in watching the battle for the right DT spot, myself. I think the corner spots are also more interesting that any of those ones given as choices, save maybe the WR. Oh, and it will be intersting to see if Ko can earn his job back, and I certainly hoep they make him earn it.
  23. Not a bad idea. Maybe they can fit the receivers and backs with ultrasonically welded uniforms silimar to these.
  24. Keep him? This is the way to solve the earth-shaking hold out that has been going on now for more than two hours! Trade him for the Bears' Olin Kreutz or Vikes' Matt Birk.
