Just a couple mentions. Jeremy Fowler on ESPN, but he also said he's likely to stay in Tampa. Then today Buffalo News Jay Skurski said he's the surprise signing for the Bills.
He's been an average interior OL. He adds value with his ability to play all 3 interior positions at a pretty average level.
It would be very difficult to find a better OG for $5 million per year in UFA.
What stats by the way?
I think if you get the edge rusher the need to replace Wallace is less. Wallace and Jackson will do just fine, probably draft a guy in the 1st 3 rounds.
Blocking TE is a need but I'm ok with Knox another year.
The rest really aren't needs but would be great additions.
No. They never had Ford - Morse - Feliciano on the field together last year.
Ford IMO was just starting to get comfortable at LG when the injury hit also.
This sounds like one of those old poison pill contracts. Bills should do this with Josh Allen before the NFL bans them.
Give Josh an 8 year deal that's really a 4 year deal just to spread the cap hits out.
They switched blocking scheme to a power scheme at the end of the season. They have to figure out how to incorporate that with Morse's ability to move. That's the key to turning around run blocking next year.
