We can use the “ started in “ results. Here they state these players started about half (8.3) the games. So I would guess about half of the players studied were full-time starters. Even less would be above average starters.

Age is probably the biggest factor in returning to a high level of play. That should have been part of the study. A 25/26 year old player vs a player 30+ years old. I’m sure there’s a difference. For healthy RB’s you could probably find huge playing time and performance decreases even before 30 years old.

Give it to him. I think if the Bills decided Edmunds isn’t getting a contract then there is room for another 10+ million a year deal. Poyer is another player they have to make a decision on. If they go young at those positions next year that opens the door to spend elsewhere on defense. Obviously the Oliver contract coming in 2 years but they have future room for another large contract.

If I’m a team trading up that far it has to be for a player that is a franchise QB or someone that sacks franchise QBs. DE Kayvon Thibodeaux who has a fallen a few picks through the offseason draft process.

If Edmunds is traded my guess is it’s with the Giants. Bills trade 1st 25, 4th 130, 2023 1st + Edmunds, and Epenesa to the Giants for pick 7 and CB Bradberry. We would have a hole at MLB. Do they try to get one of the pass rushers? In this scenario the Bills select preseason #1 overall player DE Kayvon Thibodeaux 7th. Then in the 2nd they draft LB Troy Anderson.

Yeah I’m not sure why networks feel the need to pay big money. I dont pay attention to them unless they say something dumb. But we have to remember a lot of people do listen to the people calling the game. I just don’t believe those people care who’s explaining what’s happening.

For the life of me I don’t understand these posts. There are logical reasons to trade him because it’s his final year but I’ve never seen a fan base want to trade a young captain on a successful team so badly. He’s a great teammate and always professional. He’s not in the news asking for money. I will never understand.
