Im wondering why the NFL didn’t step in and suspend Watson before he was traded to Cleveland? Players have been suspended before without ever being charged with a crime. So with his large civil case still growing why didn’t the NFL step in like they normally do?

Honestly, probably defended him for a while but then turn on the team for being stupid.

I know but that’s all that is needed to have your name removed from candidate lists. But like I said if the Bills become a dynasty he’ll be right at the top of the lists. So I think Beane and Gaine will be here a long time together.

I don’t think Gaine will get another GM job unless the Bills become a dynasty. There was more to Gaine getting fired then just dysfunction.

Just a few years ago she cracked top 200 in the world. Now 8th.

Why are people having such extreme reactions to this signing? It’s not worth much discussion. But it is June so I guess boredom is kicking in.

CB, LB, and WR depth. If I was forced to pick a worry in the starting lineup it would be Tre White.

Tavon Austin, Von Miller, and OJ Howard. 3 players I thought were going to be drafted by the Bills. Weird. I don’t think it’s likely he’ll make the team. But yeah, he’ll compete for a return job.

What benefit does that do for them? Fans don’t want to believe it but NFL teams do actually pay PFF for their data.

If it were true that players pay an amount that large for a favorable grade then wouldn’t that suggest NFL GMs use PFF?

They literally were using PFF in the draft video posted on the Bills website.

The Buffalo Bills use PFF for draft information. Any player evaluation will be done using personal opinions. Their grading system may be flawed, I believe it’s a universal grading system that all their people use but it’s still going to be subjective. Evaluating players isn’t a perfect science. Their grades have been pretty close to my personal opinions of players I’ve took time to evaluate. I think complete grading is impossible without knowing the players responsibility. So there will be inaccuracies with anyone doing grading without knowing exactly what the play is asking the player to do.

Give me an example of something you disagree with?

Allen has a tendency to sneak over the LG. The Titans obviously knew that. Bills OL was out numbered based on alignment. If Allen sneaks right he might score. Let me also add Feliciano gets rolled by our new NT DaQuan Jones. I never saw that before.

PFF is good data, it’s just not perfect. Their data is all subjective. 2 people can look at the same play and have a different opinion. I try to compare their data with what I see and typically it’s pretty close. Sometimes it’s been way off. That QB sneak play Dawkins had no chance. Honestly that is on Allen. You have a top 5 DT sitting right in the hole you want to sneak and your OT has to reach him? No chance. Allen has to see that and sneak right. But he pretty much always sneaks in the same spot.

He’s been very consistent. Last year seemed to be a turning point for him. After the poor Covid start he actually raised his game to a new level. He was a top ten LT down the stretch last year. I’m interested to see if he can continue that play.

Patrick was the only one throwing back beers. I’m a little disappointed Josh didn’t partake. Tom did call Josh chunky though, so maybe he’s watching his figure.

I watched 3.5 hours of golf straight through.
