No More Whiteouts again ever in Buffalo Bills history
stevewin replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Didnt affect us losing, but I have to say as someone who has uniform blindness and doesn't GAF about color combinations or uniform minutiae - when I saw the uniforms under the lights with it reflecting off the logo and numbers and sparkly sleeves I said to my son "It looks like what some theater group would wear in a musical about a football team" . I'm on the side the whole thing was amateurish. The money grab to sell merchandise is one thing - but the double down white out thing was unnecessary at best for a serious fanbase which is one of the best in the NFL IMO -
When they ran the preview on the jumbo, the guys in front of us were OMG dont do it now, and we agreed. Just a really cringe decision

Oh and lets not forget a systemic culture of cheating for decades. Belicheat was nothing once his Czar of Cheating retired
-
Slaughter of Meatheads is good - like Murder of Crows
-
McDaniels is an arrogant cheating POS. Raiders players polled by NFLPA: And ask the good people of Denver what they think of him... It's pieces of sh!t like this that help keep my hate tor that franchise burning despite its irrelevance

(Among other things) I REALLY don't get how Vrabel is considered to be some elite legendary coach by so many on here. The definition of style over substance. The definition of a Meathead. So many times I watched crappy Titans teams coached by him and they'd throw to a shot of the Neanderthal on the sideline and my immediate thought was always the same - "What a Meathead". He's like Bob Saleh Lite

Stadium Construction Discussion (No PSL/Seat selection posts)
stevewin replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well you can tell by the chaotic random seat installation 😛 As long as the primary infrastructure is in place to play the game (and confuse the wind) I don't think most fans will care if some of the amenities take longer. Makes me wonder if it might be a while til we see the Buffalo statues out front though... -
Funny this got me thinking - I am polish and my name ends in -cki which I was always told is pronounced 'ski' in polish. I Googled and it said "The main difference is, ski is the suffix of the “schlachta”, the nobles, by birth. Cki is the suffix given for achievements, for example on battlefield given to non-nobles, not only of polish heritage." So I'll assume my ancestor was some badass who achieved his name on the battlefield

Maybe he did it drag racing Jerry Hughes No that would be a pelvic soreness designation
-
No tape or brace/stabilizer on the ankle that I can see

The Grable thing is crazy and has been under the radar. Highly regarded by the coaching staff and on track to be our primary swing tackle, and still not on schedule to return - for a concussion sufferred in early Aug!

This was one where they tried to sneak the mic on him without telling, at the end he says he figured it out in the 2nd Q. They've done that with him before.. Seems a bit invasive to not even tell, but I guess it's part of what you sign up for
-
I thought you were going to say then you wrote a book from all the posts in that thread 😛 Congrats - I'm sure it was rewarding during the process to bring back all those memories from your past
-
One thing I've been thinking with the talk of how they are willing to let teams run, is how a season full of opponents bludgeoning you in the run game might contribute to wear/injuries on defensive players

I was wondering about the surgeon who performed the surgery. Don't top arhletes normally pick one of the leading surgeons in the country do do their surgery- I assume in this case they needed to act swiftly, wonder if it was just whatever surgeon was on call or if they had more options to try to get at least a top local guy (especially since it seems like it was more complicated than a run of the mill ACL)

I'm wishy-washy on this signing
