  1. Another one of those "Man I wish the Bills receivers would do that" moments
  2. I feel like the Flacco magic has to end at some point
  3. It doesn't matter because they have a dome! 😛
  4. Not to mention Thurs night games. The day rest thing doesn't bother me at all - esp when the positives of moving to mon are taken into account. "We lose a day rest!" is the new "We are doomed if the weather is terrible!!"
  5. It was reported by someone on here that has an inside source on injuries. Taron Johnson played with it his rookie year after the first game until they finally shut him down with 4 games left. Assume they will see how it goes in live action with Dodson - and yes definitely less than ideal for a LB
  6. With a torn labrum Dodson is going to be fighting it for as long as they keep playing - an extra day isn't really going to matter for him - what will matter is how many hits he takes on the shoulder and how often it pops out
  7. I'm an enginner and I have it off - as do most other tech companies. And employess at most white collar companies have flexible options for vacation/personal days
  8. Esp travelling fans from Pitt. If the weather turned out as bad as forecasted I don't think the stadium would have been very full tomorrow regardless. I get that there are some jobs that don't have felxibiity - but I would think the majority would fall into one of the categories 1) Have the day off national holiday 2) Can take vacation / time off 3) Can leave work early 4) Have an employer that makes some concession to allow attending the game. Like I said - I know ALL jobs don't fit into those, but I would think the majority would. And extra tickets available from those that can't /don't want to go (incl prob a bunch from Pitt now) would be more likely to be scooped up by locals who can attend vs people from Pitt.
  9. I would think this should also increase Bills fan attendance and how full the stadium will be
  10. Might make it easier to strip naked and cover oneself in feces from the porta-potty ( for those so inclined) The subsequent walk to the new stadium pit might be a bit harder tho
  11. And they have to stand out in the cold in the middle of the night after the fire alarm is pulled
  12. Great - now there will be frozen locusts, frogs AND Bildos raining down from the sky to contend with
  13. I like it. They could retrofilt labatt grain silos around the stadium as foundations for the dome. Labatt Dome at Highmark Stadium
  14. Ha - I was actually thinking about this. It looks like the overhang at least slopes away from the edges so people shouldn't be crushed by glaciers falling on them - but snow is going to accumulate along the middle line. Wonder how many feet of snow the engineers have factored in for max load 😛
  15. We should tank this game for better draft position
  16. Think it is as others have said - just getting the kicking ball back, which are different than the regular balls
  17. Not sure if i prefer the miserable mumbling cheating douchebag just go away, or try to chase the record with some other suckered team and fail miserably and further tarnish his cheating legacy
  18. To me Hackett is the lynch pin for Jets offensive failure. It's incredible to me he skated so relatively unscathed this year. Guess we'll see how he does as Rodger's asst next year
  19. Congrats We've had to wait our whole life for the Bills to win the Super Bowl - hopefully it happens in this little dude's first month of life
  20. Yeah I was just going to update I actually initially mis-read her age as 86 😛 Relative to regular parking I would think yeah you'd have to get there early to get close in a regular lot - and then be prepared to wait a while after for the lot to clear.
  21. Does she have a car handicap placard? If so - park in one of the two ADA lots next to the stadium. That is the best thing going if you have it. Also - if you have a wheelchair you can wheel her in throgh the VIP gate and staff can direct you to elevators that are behind unmarked doors located outside the stadium. If she walks in, you can still get stadium staff to take her up to the level in a wheelchair once you enter the gate. My (89 yr old) Dad still gets around, but long walks are tough for him. A few years ago we started using his handicap placard (which he normally never uses) to park in the ADA lot, and got him to swallow his pride and wheel him in with a transport wheelchair he has from some old injury - it is so much easier for him and makes the day go much smoother.
