  1. Good player, but often injured.
  2. Remember when Netflix cracked down on all those account leechers, which then forced more people to pay for Netflix, which then resulted in the company lowering their prices? Yeah, I don’t remember that either.
  3. You think if they forced everyone who streams illegally to pay for those streams, then all prices would lower substantially? I don’t. The money would then move to the various streaming platforms and owners/players at these events would become even more wealthy.
  4. Which is wild considering the only “bad” contract we have is Dawson Knox and maybe Curtis Samuel. How much dead cap is the team wading through?
  5. There are still many more, but Streameast was always a go to.
  6. Thought it was McGovern
  7. Well this is a rather simplistic view of what Parsons brings to a defense. I don’t know if it’s cope or delusion. “He’s just a 12 sack a year guy and gets bullied in the run game. Nothing amazing.” 😅 You do realize he’s on path to be a first ballot Hall of Famer, right? The media doesn’t produce on the field, Parsons does. He’s the ONLY player in NFL history to get at least 12 sacks his first four years. Never mind the fact that defensive coordinators have to account for him, or gameplan for him specifically, or the amount of plays he blows up that doesn’t appear on the stat sheet, or that one of the best LTs in the game - Jordan Mailata - just said “thank god he’s out of the division.” What Parsons has accomplished in 4 years: NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year (2021) 2× First-team All-Pro (2021, 2022) Second-team All-Pro (2023) 4× Pro Bowl (2021–2024) 63 TFLs 112 QB hits 9 FFs A league leading 20% pressure rate (min 500 pass rushes) And now the highest paid defender in football. But he’s nothing special…
  8. Assuming Micah continues to be the player Green Bay traded for, it’s only a win for the Cowpokes if the two picks are at least second team All Pros at some point in their careers or perennial Pro Bowlers (starters, not alternates). If they only amount to just being good role players, then GB won and history says that’s most likely all they’ll be. But you’re right, Cowpokes could trade for a disgruntled proven All Pro. But would Jerry do it?
  9. TBD. If the two players they come away with in the first round are equivalent to Kaiir Elam and Tremaine Edmunds type of production - and Micah continues his first ballot Hall of Fame trajectory - then Dallas loses easily, even with the gargantuan contract Parsons received. Some of you are undervaluing just how disruptive Parsons is and Jerry could’ve had him for $10M less if he wasn’t such a boob.
  10. And in addition to many more touches, they get asked to do more - rush, block, and catch.
  11. DaRon Bland, 4 years $92M. Makes the Benford deal look even sweeter.
  12. That was legitimately pretty. I think one thing Brady can take from the KC game is to have wrinkles out of the sneak, or other options he can turn to. He had all off season to agonize over it, so hopefully going forward if the opposing team stops it once or twice, he’ll have something else to pull from his bag of tricks instead of stubbornly calling the same play because it had worked throughout the season.
  13. The Dewayne Carter pick was supposed to be a double dip with Troy Franklin. Beane didn’t get the memo.
  14. With his size and athletic ability, I was expecting more disruption. He has 3.5 career sacks in 47 regular season games, 39 of which he has started. Only has a total of 6 QB hits and 6 TFLs. Averages about 2 tackles a game. I didn’t expect a Warren Sapp type of pass rush, but maybe a more athletic Ted Washington type.
  15. I thought he’d be a better pro than he has been thus far.
  16. We can agree to disagree. I think Parsons is 100% a generational talent and I’d bet the league would agree.
  17. But being 2nd best in the entire league at what he does doesn’t disqualify him from being a generational talent. Remember, he’s done something in his first four years that no other player in the history of the league has done. I do agree Moss was the best. Would you consider Calvin Johnson to be a generational talent?
  18. There can be multiple generational talents playing at once, you know. When Randy Moss was in the league, so was Calvin Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald, & Terrell Owens. Those guys are on a tier by themselves, first ballot hall of famers. And then you have the rest of the players in the league.
  19. He’s also the only player to have 12+ sacks in his first 4 years if I remember correctly. Just because we didn’t get him doesn’t make him less of a player, the guy is absolutely disruptive. Never mind the amount of plays he affects that don’t even make the stat sheet. He’s on a first ballot hall of fame trajectory.
  20. You can call anyone who’s on a path to being a first ballot hall of famer a generational talent. There aren’t many men that athletic with the production to match. Parsons is absolutely a generational talent.
  21. Love the deal and would’ve done the same with Oliver, but don’t love the money.
  22. Just now realized we have a stranglehold on this name: Jordan Hancock Jordan Poyer Jordan Phillips
  23. Was just coming here to say the same. Better than the ketchup bottle unis.
  24. Wish his mother was around to watch him get drafted. Sad. But a piece like this had much more emotion and drama than Hard Knocks and it was half an hour shorter.
  25. This bears out when comparing the Bills regular season defensive performance and postseason performance. Night and day.
