  1. I'm with you Johnny. Pathetic and horrifying what those scumbags did to the kid. They'll get whats coming tho. Faces on video, they're !@#$ and deservedly so.
  2. I'd say that the idoicy i am exposed to everyday on this board, and specifically this thread, is much more harmful than the people that smoke outside my building. Perhaps the government should ban message boards. Actually, the world would run much smoother if you could just ban morons.
  3. yes. i will take seven 6-3 wins on the way to a 7-9 season. No i will not root for losses to get a better draft pick. If i want to be entertained, i can go to a strip club. If i am watching the bills, i want them to win.
  4. easy. no question. i'll take a 6-3 win with 48 3-and-outs over a 48-45 loss any day of the week.
  5. I enjoyed the win. IT made for a great christmas eve party with the family. We had the entire family there, the bills won, and Terrence McGee had a record setting day. An all around good day. And last time i checked, you played the games to WIN, not to get a better draft pick.
  6. because that would require him to take nate clements balls out of his mouth first.
  7. Thats priceless. WVU is gonna roll up a 40 spot on rutgers.
  8. thats what i said...we need to focus more OL drafting in the early rounds, ala day 1, rounds 1-3. Not drafting the OL in round 1 isnt the end of the world. Not drafting the OL in rounds 1-3 IS a problem.
  9. dont lie. it's still that small even when the temps are in the 80's. sunny and 62 here in tallahassee, an absolutely beautiful day. Altho last night we nasty rain and thunderstorms, in the system a lot of you are getting now.
  10. The problems with our drafting of OL is NOT that we havent been taking them in round 1, its the lack of drafting linemen early on in the draft in general. You can get quality linemen in rounds 2 and 3. Not taking an OL in round 1 isnt the end of the world that most of you make it out to be.
  11. I forgot! the only way we are ever going to win a super bowl is by drafting all 1st round OL. Because theres no other ways to get a solid line.
  12. Well, with all WR's, a lot depends on the QB getting him the ball. Reggie Ball is still very inconsistent. I think thats a large problem with him numbers being lower than expected. For example, reggie ball is completing roughly 47% of his passes, with 17 TD's, but also 9 INT's. As with the 2nd half of the N.D. game, they sometimes fail to get him the ball. But talent-wise, he's really good. I remember the clemson game, where calvin johnson didnt get a catch, and they were going on about how clemson was able to keep him under wraps a bit, but more importantly, the jackets had been competely incapable of getting johnson the ball. Right now, CJ has 52-808-11, with a lot of big games, and a lot of small games. But look at reggie ball - 113-240, 1527 yds, 17 TD, 9 int Now look at Samardzija, who has 55-792-11, all the while he's got brady Quinn tossing him the ball, and quinn is 276-478, 3343 yds, 29 TD's, 4 ints Basically the 2 WR's have identical numbers, while JS's qb has tossed 150 more completions, 1800 more yards, and 12 more TD's. If Quinn was throwing to Johnson, CJ's numbers would be astronomical. Now i'm not saying samardzija isnt good, i think he could be a solid big target for any QB. But Calvin Johnson is tops, really is THAT good, and i'd be shocked if he fell out fo the top 3 come draft day.
  13. I'm no football expert, but Calvin Johnson really IS that good. 6'5 230lbs. I'm watched him tear up the ACC down here. He can literally just box out any defender covering him. It'd be nice ot have a huge physical presence opposite evans.
  14. How exactly, will a round 1 corner set this franchise back years in its development? And will a round 1 CB followed by a round 2 OG and a round 3 OT set us back as well?
  15. If we are going to take a QB in this years draft i really think we should...oh look a shiny thing!
  16. Thats what Jabba's Palace is for...
  17. Completely agreed. Luke Vader II was far and away the best duel. Its a classic medieval duel too, with classic swordsmanship and sword fighting. Not all of this ninja jump everywhere sh-- from the prequels. Its just 2 warriors, slugging away at each other, attack, parry, attack again. The prequels were too concerned with flipping and hopping around it was tough to actually tell when they were trying to hit each other. In Luke Vader, they are plain and simply trying to hack the other to pieces and defending themsevles. A great duel.
  18. I enjoy mud bowl games too, like the Miami(OH) vs bowling green game last night, but the pats field was ridiculous. They'd water the field down and purposely make it a sloppy shithole as to try and give themselves an unfair advantage. Piping in fake crowd noise is illegal, so why wasn't creating artificial weather?
  19. This DOES have a familiar ring. It sounds like all of the retarded thoughtless useless crap you've posted here over the past 2 days. Please tell us when you plan on graduating 3rd grade, so we can look forward to some real posts.
  20. Interesting developments in the Jeff Bowden "resigning" He apparently received a buyout from the boosters to resign. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=2663018
  21. Come to think about it, jenn and fabiola will have many positions on my staff.
  22. most of the time normal language. When something stupid happens, or when an experiment fails or screws up, then the four letter words start flying.
  23. I'm for an 8 team playoff. An to keep emphasis on the regular season, i'd give each BCS conference an auto-bid, provided they have a conference championship game. the winner gets an auto bid. This would make conferences like the big 10 add a championship game. Also, then you'd have 2 at large bids for any non-BCS teams or "bubble teams". The reason i like the championship game auto-bid method is that it puts emphasis on conference play, but still allows for non-conference battles like ohio st-texas, and ND-USC. These games could be played without penalizing the loser as much as it does now.
  24. I would definitely consider some TBD'ers for offensive assistant coaches but that depends on how many coaches they allow me to hire. I already have 2 positions filled by jenn and fabiola.
  25. no he isnt. I believe his total contract value is somewhere in the 5 year 8 million range. (perhaps a bit higher with escalators and incentives)
