Bad science is leaving out data that defies your point or calls it into question. Again, why did algore leave out all of this data from prior to 1930, etc? I just want 1 question answered. Why would be ok to spend pick #44 on an unproven college RB, but its not ok to spend pick #44 on a semi-proven NFL RB with limited mileage on the tires who we have actually seen in game action? I guess i dont see why trading our 2nd for turner is "sacrificing a pick", while using that same pick on a RB is justified.

I didnt say it takes away any responsibility we have of being responsible. I'm more into the science than the actual policy. The earth is warming. when the warming cycle comes to an end, we are going to head into a long ice age. Its how the cycles work. The earth will take care of herself. Humans arrogantly think we can "destroy" the earth, but in the end (of course, this could be millions of years off), if things are shifted too far out of balance, we'll get ours. The earth will take care of herself, and we'll be left by the wayside. Personally, i'd rather see an asteroid or comet smack us than wait for natural balance. Nothing liek kicking back, grabbing a few brews, and watching utter chaos ensue as people try to save and cling to their pathetic little lives.

I'd take turner for a 2nd rounder. He's proven more in the NFL than any of the backs that will be available in the 2nd/3rd round. I've seen a little of turner, and hes got the explosiveness. I'm not keen on the fact that he seems to catch very few passes, but perhaps that was the offense. LT and Gates were catching everything. As for playing time, my old neighbor (still a bills fan) lives in SD and sees the chargers all the time. Says he'd love it if the bills snagged him. SAys turner is the real deal, and can carry the load. One point he brought up which i didnt know, was that turner spells LT in the middle of drives too, not just at the end of the games. Says when turner came in for a set of downs to give LT a blow, the offense didnt miss a beat. Also said lots of times it was tough to tell when LT had subbed out, because there was no difference is the quality of the ground game, and turner was just as good.

As for me, i've done the thinking. i'm a scientist. i've read the books, the articles, i've read the historical climate data. Hell, as an undergrad, one of my classes was about global warming. MY little group was responsible for science behind global warming, and the 6 of us came up with 50 pages (fully referenced) on why global warming was NOT caused by humans, but rather by nature. Global warming exists. The earth is getting warmer, But it is NOT due to humans.
