  1. Let me get this straight. The draft picks we make next month arent going to be very good, yet when we trade 2 picks for turner, he's not going to be good enough to justify spending 2 draft picks on him? Wont these draft picks also suck? I forgot that we are in "the bills suck and will never be good" land, where the draft picks we do have suck, and the ones we trade away are automatically going to be pro-bowlers.
  2. Not necessarily. You take a look at who you have and whos available. We had matt boewn and coy wire at safety last year. You look at whitner and ask, is whitner going to be better than either of those 2 this year and in the future? The answer is a resounding yes. Now you look at butler, preston, etc, and ask, Is this 2nd round or 3rd round OG going to be THAT much better than either of the guys who we have and we know a lot about? And is he worth selecting over another more important need area such as LB or RB? The answer that is most likely no.
  3. The best one i've seen is: "Earth First! (we'll strip mine the other planets later)"
  4. well, SOMEONE needs to make up for the void of retardedness since HA hasnt been around.
  5. funny. you call belittle teachers by calling them glorified babysitters, but when your kid turns into a !@#$ up, you'll be the first one screaming that it was the teachers fault they didnt train your little !@#$ up properly.
  6. Know how i know you guys are gay?
  7. Agreed. I dont know where the hell he's pulling those numbers from. My mom's been 11+ years at a suburban school in WNY and is only in the mid 40's. She'll hafta teach another 15 years before she starts even sniffing the numbers that he posted.
  8. Bic, because they make the atlantis. The more important question is... Click or cap?
  9. But you have to look at the entire depth chart. Peters-Dockery, and walker(in some capacity) are set. Fowler, while not all-pro, is solid enough where you cant justify spending a 1st day pick on an OC. Not when there are bigger needs. So thats 4 starters pretty much set. then we have whittle, butler, pennington, merz, and preston. A rookie isnt going to start at guard. It'll be butler or preston (or perhaps pennington at RT and walker to RG, but i doubt that). The staff knows what they have in preston, merz, butler, and pennington, for the most part. They dont know what they are getting in a rookie for the most part. So they need to decide if its worth booting a player they know a lot about for a rookie of which they know nothing. If they see enough in last years crop, given our needs in other areas on the team, theres no reason to waste an early round pick on the OL this year. Sure, snag an OL or 2 in the later rounds, but not early on this year.
  10. we dont need a rookie RG to start. Butler and Walker will be manning the right side this year.
  11. completely agreed. start sending a message to these little !@#$s.

  13. I'll take the Buccs.
  14. Look out Tom, he's on to us.
  15. It'll be ok. Yo just need to calm down a bit. take a deep breath, and count to 3.5. Then you'll see the retard.
  16. Finally got all caught up with the new episodes. i really like the direction this part of the season has taken. the old LOST is back, with story and character deveopment, intermixed with action. It makes you think a hell of a lot more. I think Ben and Locke are working each other. No doubt Ben would like to have someone with Locke's "knowledge/power" about the island on his "side". Locke is definitely out for himself, and what he thinks is right. With Jakc and Kate, Jack's still pissed that Kate nailed sawyer. I know i would be if i was jack. He needs to stick with juliette and hit that.
  17. Rocket Ismail.
  18. We do need help at LB. with the d-line disrupting plays, the LB's need to attack the LOS and shut down the run. Willis would help immensely in this area. I am with you regarding our DE's tho. They are highly underrated, and schobel is a beast. Kelsay started to emerge last year, and schobel rose up to 14 sacks. If Kelsay continues to improve, its not out of the realm of possibility to see the duo approaching 25 sacks combined.
  19. Post of the year. Thank you. I agree, everyone else is too worried about the "1" and the "3" positions alogn the d-line, and we wont be playing a standard defense like that. A rotation means just that, we'll have all 4 DT's playing both spots on the line at various time. Sure, specific players may be designated the 1 or 3 technique, but thats not going to limit where or with whom they play with.
  20. At least the signings on the OL gave your arms a month's rest before you picked up the club again and went back to the dead horse.
  21. the seahawks did it with shaun alexander a few years back. but then they signed him to a monster deal before he ever hit the market.
  22. If GU beats UCLA, i'll win the TBD bracket, and the other pool i entered.
  23. the top 5 are 108, 105, 101, 100, and 100.
