Well, i live in south georgia, so it is miserable. A good 30 miles inland makes summer tallahassee a sweatbox. But its worth it for the FSU girls.

This i can agree with whole heartedly. People form around the country have no clue what Buffalo weather is like. People down here think the same thing, that its 20 degrees and snow from september until june. They cannot comprehend the difference between, "Yes, it can and sometimes snows in april" and "It snows through the month of april" I love the Buffalo summers tho. 80 degrees, not too much humidity compared to down here. June-September down here is absolutely miserable.

*I* dont think Schobel had a down year. He was selected to the friggin pro bowl. My post was in response to the numerous tards who insist schobel sucks, is overated, and is overpaid. I think Schobel is the best player on the defense.

We paid Schobel what we did, because thats what the NFL market dictated we pay him. Top DEs are making that much, freeney makes 72 mil. Schobel was coming off back to back 12 and 14 sack seasons, making him one of the top sack artists, so we paid him accordingly. One bad season doesnt make a career. I dont undestand why everyone bitches that player X is overpaid when they have 1 down year, but if a low paid player has a fantastic year, they should "honor their contract"

Builds character. Being on a HS team that sucks can still be a ton of fun, just because you are playing, hanging out with friends, etc. We started a new ice hockey team in HS, and i was one of 6 people on the team that had played organized ice hockey previously. We went 0-19, with 10 goals scored all season long. But i'll be damned if it wasnt a lot of fun. (however, i never expected to 2nd on the team in scoring with my 3 points. Team leader had 5.)

Lets see...Aaron Schobel averages over 10 sacks per season for his career before this season. This year, a year in which our defense ate ass, Schobel drops down to 6.5 sacks, and now he sucks? 10 sack per season. I'll take that production any day of the week.
