  1. Wow, Eric Crouch. I'm guessing they brought him in so Kelly would no longer be the biggest whiner on the field.
  2. You forgot to include that fact that pittsburgh is 4 hours from his destination, which is gettysburg.
  3. A rook WR that we draft will not need to perform at a top level immediately. If he can perform at a #2 level, that will be excellent.
  4. Update with regards ot the mock draft. Ok, since my week turned out to be hellaciously busy at work, the mock draft is on hold for a little bit. Over the next day, i am going to be completing the 1st round starting with seattle's pick. Picks that were made out of sequence (tenn, NO, SF etc.) are no longer valid. Since i will be out on friday, we will resume the draft on monday April 21 at 12:00pm eastern time, AS PER THE SCHEDULED 2nd round times. We will then complete the draft over the course of monday, tuesday, and wednesday. Also, if you see you are on the clock over the weekend with your second round choice, feel free to make your pick and we'll see if we cant get a little bit ahead. If not, be ready to go, or PM me by monday morning with your 2nd round selection. Also, i am still looking for a helper or 2 to help run this next week. Assistant duties include sending a PM to whoever is on the clock when i cant be at the computer, and making a proxy selection for someone who's time has expired, as well as making sure there have been no double selections. Thanks for everyone's patience.
  5. Just to refresh some memories, we have done absolutely NOTHING yet to improve the 30th ranked offense. And somehow this is ok with people, and we are willing to forgo a WR until round 3?
  6. The credibility of yahoo sports has long been on par with that of realfootball365. (Read: it has none) Yahoo should stick to fantasy sports analysis and leave the real analysis to the grown-ups.
  7. I recommend Adidas sneakers. I've had 3-4 pairs of them, and the only reason they got tossed was because i had literally worn the sole clean off. They never fall apart, and are a quality comfortable shoe. I dont know what you want to spend, but you can get a solid pair of Adidas running shoes for $50-$60.
  8. Except that last years records are all but meaningless when it comes to determining the quality of the team for THIS season. Last year, everyone was told to fear the Jets. they went 3-13. Last year, everyone was laughing at cleveland for trading a "top 5" 2008 pick to dallas for Quinn, because cleveland was going to suck. How'd that turn out? SOS is meaningless. For those bitchign about ne*, you all do realize that the entire division has 14 common games dont you? The onyl reason their SOS is so low is due to the combined 2-30 from the 2 dolphins games and the 6-26 from the 2 jets games.
  9. Of course, it could be mentioned that last seasons records are a poor misrepresentation at best of how a given team will perform this season.
  10. Division I NCAA baseball cares so much about the student athletes that they started the season later and are making most teams play 5 games per week instead of the usual 3 on weekends.
  11. My complete apologies. I had what looked ot be like an easy week at work, with just a lot of computer work to do all week, so the draft wasnt going to be a problem. Unfortunately, a ton of things have sprung up. I was out all day yesterday, i have ot be out all day friday, and today i am relatively swamped in the morning and have a few hour meeting in the afternoon. As of right now, we'll just continue making picks when we can. We'll get the draft back on track and finish it before the real draft. Again, my apologies.
  12. If the NCAA gave 2 ***** about the student athletes, they'd either 1) pay the players for making the universities billions, and 2)give the athletes a fill scholarship that can be used AFTER they finish up their eligibility. Athletes "earning" degrees while playing division 1 football is a complete joke.
  13. I'm more pissed about the fact they they moved a divisional game, and took away a significant homefield advantage. Move another game, NOT a divisional game.
  14. One less rapist, but +30 assists per game for the lakers if he gets hit.
  15. Whoever takes over the draft tomorrow will also need to post a poll on the front page for the Bills 2nd round pick.
  16. Since i will be gone tomorrow, Tampa Bay selects WR Devin Thomas.
  17. Minnesota selects DE Philip Merling
  18. Detroit selects LB Jerod Mayo
  19. Per PM, the Chicago Bears select RB Johnathan Stewart
  20. The Buffalo Bills select (as per TB vote) WR Limas Sweed. The Denver Broncos select OLB Keith Rivers. Carolina is on the clock.
  21. Ok, final results are in. Limas Sweed edges out Devin Thomas and Branden Albert to be the Buffalo Bills' pick at #11 in the TBD mock draft.
  22. Denver has PMed me their next pick, so i will leave this poll open for another 10 minutes.
  23. It shouldnt affect anyone. If any of the teams really need 15 whole minutes to decide on a pick that early in the draft, then they're pretty much fuct. Most teams get on the clock, and then sit on their thumb for 15 minutes waiting for someone to blow them away with a trade offer. I would hope that the Bills have their top 11 players identified by now.
  24. I'm not bound to the chart. But no team is going to drop from #11 to the end of the first round for only a 3rd rounder in exchange. All of the WRs the Bills want could be long gone by then. A third rounder would be enough to drop from 11 to around 18-20. Any further and you need a lot more ammo.
