Marcell Dareus is giddy as a schoolgirl
ajzepp replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think it's very interesting how Mario likes to play the left side...that will make M.Anderson even more valuable to us, but the LBs have GOT to be able to be effective as a unit in order for us to really turn loose this front 4. But I really think Anderson could be a borderline 3-down player from the R LDE spot. The idea of K.Williams and Dareus wreaking MAD HAVOC up the middle has got to have Mario and Anderson already licking their chops and salivating all over the turf at the Ralph. The more I think about it, the more psyched I get. -

No way...as I've said several times recently, we have a locker room full of "team-first" guys...the last thing we need is a "me-first" guy. It's not easy to get this sort of chemistry to where the team overall plays better than their talent level because of the enhanced team atmosphere, but I think we accomplished that last year. Even if Ochocinco wanted to pay US to come here, just say "no"!

I cannot wait to see these beasts unleashed on opening day...I'm so glad Wanny is in control now. If Wanny can get the most out of our LBs, this defense will be full of talent from front to back and we'll have a very nice combination of younger players and vets. -
I think Bo is in the top 5 of all time for sure, but Shaq? He's not even in the conversation in my opinion. I don't think he's even in the top 20 most athletic NBA players over the span of his career.

Dont worry, even if the Heat close out the Celts, there's no way in hell they'll get by Mr Durant. And I agree about the baggage thing...I'm truly embarrassed at the way people act in the name of religion. Religion was the main reason my marriage failed, as well...people really can become nuts with that stuff. -
Jeez Buftex, I watched tonight in support of your team, and in your honor no less, and what do they do? They lay a huge egg right in Boston Garden. That was a pretty solid ass-whoopin. I expect your boys to play a little better on Saturday, young man!

See that's the aspect of this whole debate that I find really annoying. Why does the validity of evolution have to be a statement on the existence of a creator, and why does creationism have to be an attempt to invalidate evolution? I think the two camps are far overreaching their bounds on both sides of the debate. In the meantime, people like me are caught in the crossfire and often find it difficult to find an intelligent discussion on the topic without having to also deal with the politics of the thing. -

Good point...I'm a fan of Samberg and am really bummed that he's leaving SNL. He's very good at using his expressions and physicality for humor and I respect that. I really think he's leaving SNL too early, but the SNL players have done relatively well moving to features over the years. -
I'm gonna lmao if the Celts win tonight...there's no way in hell they'll beat OKC, but if Miami goes out again it'll be hilarious. Spolestra (sp) is so gone.

I feel like I'm in music heaven between the upgraded (pay version) Pandora and PTR's buddy. I bought some fantastic portable headphones recently and the sound quality I'm getting from these two sources is far better than I could have ever imagined. I listen to both of these sources every day lately.

I saw this the other night...great story. Those light painting hippies were pretty cool, too.

Thought this was a pretty cool video about a top secret Air Force Shuttle that has apparently been orbiting the planet for a while. http://www.aol.com/video/air-force-has-secret-space-shuttle/517388924?a_dgi=aolshare_email

When I started dating my ex-wife back in 2000, Napster was at its peak of popularity and use. I would always go over after class and/or work and we'd lay in bed and talk for hours while she played country music on her computer. I have to admit, even though I always sort of hated the genre, contemporary country really is pretty good. I became a so-so fan of Martina McBride, Rascal Flatts, Kenny Chesney (The Good Stuff is probably my favorite county song....great tune), Brad Paisley, and Toby Keith. I really haven't listened to much since we split up, but from time to time I'll revisit it.

QB Coach Lee: I'm going with the expert.
ajzepp replied to Rivermont Mike's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I want Fitzy to succeed as much as anyone, but that hot and cold crap he pulled last season just isn't going to cut it. I know, we had tons of injuries. That's fine. He's got the confidence of Chan and the coaching staff, and I'm sure that all of Bills Nation is behind him going into the season. But dammit man, we've got some TALENT on this team now and we can't have the QB being so bipolar. Hopefully Coach Lee can tweak him enough to do what he says and Fitzy will end up solidifying himself as our starter. Training camp is next month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -

I still give up Say what you want about Jim in Anchorage, but threads are always more entertaining when he's chiming in -
What the hell, Boston is still in it?? I honestly haven't even been paying attention since the Celts cheated and paid off the refs to beat my Sixers.

I used to always look forward to Sandler films cause even though they were typically lousy films, they were always good for some laughs. I don't know what happened over the last five years or so, but even people like me who used to be a fan of the guy are like, "wtf?" There's no way in hell I would pay to go see any of his films in the theater. Can't wait to see Promethius, even though I'm still confused as to whether it's related to the Alien films or not. Seems like I've read different accounts of the premise. As always, thanks Mark!! -
I finally looked up Primer and realize that I did see it quite a while back...it's definitely a solid recommendation. Now that I read the synopsis of it Im reminded of some of the details...Its worth seeing for sure.

Yep, he's our resident consumer guru. I sent him the PM, so hopefully he'll respond in a day or two...I know he's got a lot on his plate and doesn't spend as much time on here as he used to. -

I agree. An atheist who tells me they KNOW God doesn't exist lacks just as much credibility in my eyes as a Christian who says they know he does. Nobody knows, and nobody will until we kick the bucket. I take a lot of grief from Christians I've debated with about faith v. knowledge. I believe we're called to have faith, and that knowledge of something precludes the need for faith. I think a lot of my peers miss that piont and saying they KNOW God exists is just part of the arrogance that a lot of Christians possess. Just my $.02 -
