Im not only saying this because I'm a Braves fan, but I totally agree about this one game crap. There is a reason why playoffs in baseball are series'....I'm not enough of a baseball fan to be a "traditionalist", but it's hard for me to believe that anyone who falls under that heading could have anything but disdain for this format. As for that call today, it was one of the worst I've ever seen. 2nd and 3rd with two outs is TOTALLY different than bases loaded with one out. We did plenty to ruin our chances today with all these idiotic infield "throws", but this call should have never been made. Lastly, this is the most passion I've seen from Atlanta fans, so it's ironic that the passion would be in the form of classless behavior. Atlanta fans are fugtards.

Love it!

I've only seen Armie in The Social Network, where he was very solid, so it will be interesting to see him in a leading role along side one of the greatest actors of his generation. It will be nice to see another big screen adaptation of the Lone Ranger. There was a version that came out when I was a kid in the 80s that I really loved, but I think I'm one of the few who saw it, let alone liked it.

"Gangrene set it in within a few weeks, causing doctors to remove a five-inch section of Nash's penis" Wow....if they had to remove nearly half of my penis I'd sue, too!

Yeah, I thought last night's episode was just ok....agree with Wooderson that it was great to see Tara go off on that ho.

That's a very compelling point, and it's one that I have really considered over the last couple of years in particular.

The main reason why I don't invest in a vinyl rig is due to convenience. I'm fully on board with the experience, and anyone who hasn't heard a REAL vinyl set-up is truly missing out. Digitized music lacks some of the heart that vinyl has, IMO, but the price is worth it in terms of the convenience it offers. I typically will go on Amazon, find used copies of whatever music I want to buy for like $3, and then when it shows up in the mail I rip it to iTunes in Apple Lossless. It doesnt matter if the CD case is obliterated or cracked or whatever....as long as the actual physical disc is intact, once I rip the music it goes into a box in the closet, never to be heard from again. I have my entire library of music digitized and accessible with the click of a button to just about anywhere in the house. If I want to take it on the road, I just sync my iPod and I'm good to go. That convenience is worth enough to me to forego the extra pleasure I would get from having a full-fledged vinyl rig in my main system. I often toy with the idea of putting one together since there seems to be a resurgence of available titles on vinyl, but it would be in addition to my existing music collection, not in place of it.

Not my favorite, but I know they have a large following. My flavor is more vinyl with Magnepans or DeVore Fidelity

I could do without the JBLs, but I'm a believer in vinyl...

lol...lots of dog owners here

So a few months ago, a good friend of mine says that she really wishes she could get a dog. I promised her that if she did, I'd help her out since she was in school and working FT. So she ended up getting a 12 week old Cockapoo, who was a pretty sick little fella at first. Over the past few months I've spent a lot of time working with him and training him, and the results of some of that are on the youtube vids I have posted of him. He's very smart...he was housebroken in a matter of weeks...he learned how to sit, stay, fetch, speak, and come in very short order, and he's got a fantastic personality. One thing we've noticed is that he loves watching tv and the computer screen. If he sees something interesting, he'll sit there and literally watch it intently for a significant amount of time. Well, as it turns out, Teddy is a lover not a fighter...and not only has he exhibited a protective instinct with both myself and my friend, but he also responds to ANY sort of violence that he sees. Case in point, we started watching a movie called "Haywire" the other day. As usual, Teddy plopped down in the middle of the bed/couch and sat there and watched along with us. But about five minutes into the film, Channing Tatum and Gina Carano get into an altercation in a diner...Teddy did NOT like that! So not only is this the first dog I've been around that loves watching TV, but he's the first to take a stance and put his foot down in the name of stopping violence! lol

Yep, that's the part. I could swear that he was cutting up a hand and throwing it in the frying pan. It had all the palm lines on it and everything. It must have just been suggestive, as you said...I'm glad to know he's not eating people, cause I can only take so much of that lol. 'Clippers: Thanks for the feedback Good call, I forgot about Wikipedia...thanks man

Just based on the scenes from upcoming episodes, it sure looks like it's not a dream. I haven't watched this show except for the first season. A friend is wanting to watch this current season, though, so I went ahead and watched with her tonight. Is this guy a damn cannibal now?? I remember the basic premise of the show, but I don't remember him being a cannibal lol...the opening sequence was pretty damn disgusting! Also, if anyone feels up to giving me a quick primer on what I've missed since the first season, that would be very much appreciated.

Yep, good example...I know there are a few of us who really enjoyed that one.

TJax will stay #3 wtf Bills?
ajzepp replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'd much rather have TJax....if they both suck, then I"ll take the guy with the better arm and the additional threat of running. Thigpen is awful. -
Colin Kaepernick [get 'er dun!]
ajzepp replied to buffalover4life's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think this is the plan we need to pursue...not necessarily Kapernick, but we need to target a young back-up who has shown some flashes and trade for them. I know we tried to grab Harrell last season, and that's the sort of thing i"m talking about. Find someone they targeted in the draft but missed out on, bring him in here and let him compete with TJax. Fitz can be the backup. Not drafting any QBs these last two years was just stupid. I once heard a GM say you should ALWAYS take a QB in every draft (may have been Thompson in GB....not sure). You just never know who will develop and it's worth it to have a young kid on the roster. -
Brady: They dared us to run
ajzepp replied to Over 29 years of fanhood's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wanny is here as a favor to Chan. He said it today during his pre-game interview. The guy has no passion at all and his lack of in-game adjustments is pathetic. There are only 32 of these gigs in the world. I'm sure we can find a defensive mind who can do a better job than this. Take a look at Atlanta. Mike Nolan came in here this year and he's getting far more production out of basically the same group of players - minus Curtis Lofton - as they had last year. He's creative, aggressive, and the defense is a force now. We have a lot of talent on that side of the ball, including young talent that will only get better. -

I was throwing things at the computer screen when we kept sending just four guys. Even Joe the homeless guy on the curb knows that to beat Brady you gotta pressure him. instead we just let him stand there all day and pick us apart at every range. Almost as stupid as running a guy who left the game with a shoulder injury right up the middle on the goal line into the likes of Vince Wilfork. I seriously don't think anyone cares anymore...
