  1. I'm proud that it's my alma mater, Temple University, that I get to use as the example for the future of Buffalo Bills special teams. I have been saying for years that I think it's completely asinine to have BOTH a punter and a kicker taking up a roster spots. Over the years you've had quarterbacks who can punt just fine, and it has never made sense to me why professional kickers can't also PUNT the damn thing, too. I just turned 40 y.o. but I bet that I could go out there on Sundays and punt for a respectable average! The fact that we have THREE damn roster spots taken up by these hosers is a real shame, especially when we lose a quality player like Johnny White. So hopefully next season the Bills will draft this kid, my fellow Temple Owl, and cut Lindell, Powell, and Potter. http://www.philly.com/philly/blogs/owlsinq/McManus-named-Big-East-specialist-of-the-week-Temple-Owls.html
  2. Complete ignorance....they weren't on the race very long, but they already rank up there among the most classless teams to ever be on the show.
  3. "the d-line looks every bit as nasty as advertised" "i still think the bills will be improved and compete for a playoff spot" -Boludo, 8/27/12 "the spiller pick was obviously terrible - if you won't admit that you are just being foolishly stubborn" -Boludo, 1/12/12
  4. Karma's a B word....good riddance, bimbos.... I get so sick of these morons who yell at people in other countries for not speaking English....so glad to see these dumbasses gone.
  5. lol, I don't remember ever being this upset with the guy, but it was really making me want to punch the guy. It's funny, cause as soon as they drove into FG range, I switched over to the Pats game because I wasn't going to watch the end result of their ineptitude. I noticed that the score on the Sunday Ticket stream didn't change though, and then next thing I saw it said "OT"....I couldn't believe it....I didn't see any possible way that Feely would have missed. I immediately switched back over and thankfully Byrd allowed my blood pressure to return to normal!
  6. I know it's hindsight, but just seems like it would have been a great time for Spiller to get a few carries, kick the FG, and force them to put it in the endzone. I would have enjoyed this win so much more if they would have done that....all that ridiculousness after this series was truly maddening.
  7. 1-10-BUF 41(5:54) 14-R.Fitzpatrick pass incomplete short left to 13-St.Johnson. 2-10-BUF 41(5:50) (Shotgun) 14-R.Fitzpatrick pass short left to 22-F.Jackson pushed ob at ARI 47 for 12 yards (51-P.Lenon). ARI-25-K.Rhodes was injured during the play. His return is Questionable. 1-10-ARI 47(5:25) 22-F.Jackson up the middle to ARI 40 for 7 yards (51-P.Lenon). 2-3-ARI 40(4:42) 22-F.Jackson right tackle to ARI 37 for 3 yards (58-D.Washington). 1-10-ARI 37(4:00) 22-F.Jackson up the middle to ARI 36 for 1 yard (90-D.Dockett). 2-9-ARI 36(4:00) Direct snap to 16-B.Smith. 16-B.Smith pass deep middle intended for 19-D.Jones INTERCEPTED by 21-P.Peterson at ARI 0. 21-P.Peterson to ARI 15 for 15 yards (79-E.Pears). That's not what I see. Fred ran for a first down on the first two carries - 7 and 3 yards, respectively - and then they ran it once more for a yard before the brain fart.
  8. Exactly. I could see it when our Oline was crap and we had to use gadget and/or riskier plays to offset that disadvantage, but our Oline has just crushed people this season. Stevie is amazing at getting separation. Our RBs are downright dominant. I don't understand the mentality of relying on our niche players in crucial, game-changing situations.
  9. So many great memories with this console and so many long, wonderful hours of playing! My three favorite 2600 memories: 1) the day my parents gave in and we brought it home, along with space invaders.... 2) the time when I was at a buddies house and my mom called to tell me they got a copy of pacman for when I got home 3) convincing my aunt that when the little guys in circus atari missed the teeter-totters and splatted into the ground, that at some point you needed to open up the back of the tv and clean out all the dead guys.
  10. The more I hear from Chan, the more it bothers me how much he allows the defense to dictate his play calling. That's great that he's able to factor the defense into the equation, cause obviously that's a huge part of it, but at the same time we are strong enough on the Oline now and at our skill positions that we should also be able to dictate and impose OUR will from time to time. Especially when you are in position to lock up the game like we were in the 4th, you play to your strengths and rely on your playmakers. You don't take a risk and allow your 3rd string QB come in and throw a pass into the end zone. All that nonsense at the end of that game and into OT could have been avoided if they had played smart football, taken the game by the balls, and allowed our playmakers to seal the deal. I know our Oline is a bit banged up, but they still open holes and can knock some heads. There's no excuse to resort to risky "catch them off guard" plays when you can win in the trenches and rely on your stars to execute.
  11. Yep....when Fitz actually gets the pass there, these guys need to catch the damn thing....
  12. I've been ready for TJax for a few weeks and even more so after seeing that today. For Fitz to not put the ball anywhere near Freddie or Stevie on those crucial downs where they were WIDE open, that's just pathetic. I'm sorry, but a pro-caliber NFL QB should never miss wide open throws at that distance. There's no way Freddy was more than 10-15 yds away. I don't know what's wrong with him, but I'm sick of watching him.
  13. When they came back from commercial break and I saw this, I had to take a screen shot....I'm really surprised that they don't use signs that have the entire word lol
  14. Me too...CJ has done this several time this year....the guy is a stud, but Chan just HAS to start tinkering around instead of feeding CJ the ball.
  15. LOL I wish I could get on board with that...this just didn't feel like a win to me at all....much of the game was maddening to watch. Once again CJ averaged like a million yards a carry, yet we stop giving him the ball for some inexplicable reason...and then we let our wildcat QB throw a pass into the endzone late in the 4th quarter when we're up instead of playing smart and putting the game away. I wish I could feel differently, I just know that today's win doesn't mean anything in the grand scheme of things until we play smart football.
  16. Today was the first day I REALLY was wanting to punch Chan in the face.
  17. For any fans of Phantom of the Opera, there is a 25th Annivesary show that was filmed live and produced as a dvd/bluray. It's available via Netflix streaming and it's really, really well done. I'm not a big musical guy, but Phantom was a special thing for me when I attended in Toronto in '95. I wish they'd do this with the Broadway version of The LIon King. For anyone who hasn't seen it live, the Lion King is phenomenal.
  18. That would suck...Im really hoping to see him jump on a non-work day.
  19. What do you love most about it?
  20. Had a lot of fun with this one tonight...I think this is the film Selmon recommended a while back. The first 15 mins were incredibly entertaining. Overall the first half was better than the second, but the film was a fun ride from start to finish.
  21. Fockin' right!
  22. I know where you're from....that's why your mama can't shoot
