  1. The point that is being missed is this. Leinhert will not play at all this year. Dennis Green is his head coach, and going on history (Culpepper), he will sit and watch Kurt Warner play this year. He's pretty much a lock in year two, but not a chance this year.
  2. I haven't played in about 10 years. It did provide a ton of fun! My moment in the spotlight was when the Bills played the Chiefs (Montana's first game with K.C.) My score was #18 in the nation. I'd probably get my butt kicked if I played now, but I'm thinking about getting back into it. Too bad they don't allow you to play at home, like they used to.
  3. I've never done this, so I decided to give it a try. I'm firmly convinced that ESPN should hire Corey Glover, Vernon Reid and Will Calhoun for the booth next year!

  5. Apparently she also has a mean streak... http://www.nytimes.com/2006/08/13/business/13snyder.html
  6. You still don't have an In-N-Out Burger!
  7. Mularky would have had him start...
  8. This is better than NFL.com's Game Center. I think they still have me on the 1st quarter...
  9. -October 2006, Trailer Park Boys Movie. Alex Lifeson plays a cop. -Later 2006/early 2006. Neil Peart (not a fake, but the real guy) is going to be in the Aqua Teen Hunger Force Movie.
  10. Can't make this stuff up if you try. June 2006, Los Angeles.
  11. The "rumor" has them starting a World tour in early 2007, in South America. Neil on his website mentions that a number of songs are already written, calling these songs the "freshest stuff we've done in, like forever"! (Neilpeart.net)
  12. To her neck, which explains her beard! And she just became the best Rush friendly DJ in the US!
  13. http://blogs.nhra.com/nhrablogs.asp?blog=csk For July 30th. Story about a "slightly talented Canadian trio".
  14. NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. Pat LaFontaine having his mini-van loaded with new hockey helmets to drive over from the Aud to Ft. Erie for a youth hockey camp.
  16. I got inspired.
  17. Brokeback Stanley? Let's hope they didn't have to call a Blacksmith like Messier and the Rangers had to, after Stanley went to a NYC Strip club...
  18. I blame this all on Dan Gross! He called the new Sabres Logo a Banana Slug. My wife has a Masters degree in Political Science from U.C. Santa Cruz. Their logo? You guessed it! Banana Slug's rule!!!
  19. ST. LOUIS -- Veteran defenseman Jay McKee agreed to terms on a four-year, $16 million contract with the St. Louis Blues on Saturday. http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/news/story?id=2507158 And... http://www.nhl.com/news/2006/07/276408.html It's 4 Million per year.
  20. See the new Sabres logo?
  21. Hermosa Beach is awesome! If (and only if) time permits, make the 3 plus hour trip south, and kick around in San Diego. If it's your first time in Ca., a necessary evil would be a drive down Hollywood Blvd. It's something to be seen, but only once. Venice Beach is also very recommended. Did I mention San Diego? <---- Needs to make plans to move about 11 hours south...
  22. There is only one, and one reason why the Sabres are doing this. Mad Goat Head Sabres Logo + Larry Quinn = Too much of a reminder of Doug Moss. Quinn has done a lot of great things. Bringing back the Blue and Gold would be fantastic (partly because there are real gold tiles in the Sabres home dressing room, and Quinny needs to justify the cost of those 10 plus years later?) But it would not be surprising for me at all for Quinn to remove the last remaining thumbprint of the Doug Moss era, which would be new uni's. IMHO, not necessary.
  23. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,198651,00.html http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory?id=2052072 http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2006/06/08/...in1692753.shtml Also a press conference, with General George Casey, with the new Iraqi Prime Minister, who confirmed that he was killed, and verified by fingerprints, facial recognition, and known scars. Guess it's pretty true, but I'll find more links if more proof is needed...
