If they have the mentality that "Bad teams find a way to lose" they will find a way to lose. But, if they see continual support and positive spirit from Mularkey and Co. they will keep their heads up.

Gotta capitalize on the turnovers and create them. Oakland had five yesterday against an average Steelers D. That's all the Steelers did. If you look at the yardage Oakland pummeled them. Mostly through the air.

I would rather send a thank you card to the best team in the NFL supported by the best fans...THE SUPER BOWL CHAMPION NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS.... --------------- lol....this is a joke right??? Best fans??? I can think of tons of teams that have a better fan base who haven't done crap in the last five years than yours. Chicago, Jets, Giants, Minnesota, Bills, Browns, Steelers, Broncos, Chiefs, Skins and the Cowboys. Best fans in the world???? Give me a break. I compare Bills fans to Red Sox fans. The most dedicated knowledgable fans to a team even though they haven't got over yet.

Some of you seemed to still be reeling from the fact that we lost. It's over get over it. Others seemed to have moved on and like what they see. I am on this side of the fence. Here's the thing. Mularkey's FIRST GAME was extremely close. Give the guy some credit. The D is coming with more blitzing schemes. This is going to be HUGE against Oakland b/c they don't have much of a running game. And with the line they have we can get to Gannon. The O is going to go through growing pains. The line is young. Willis is brand new. Lee Evans first game was yesterday. But, I did like the Draw to Henry call on 3rd and long. First down. And the screen to Willis on 3rd down. First down. Would we have seen these calls with Killdrive??? I don't think so folks. So what we didn't go long?? With all the reasons about it more than likely would have resulted in a sack or int. Then you would be all over Drew. The game plan fit the O. Listening to local Rochester radio it seems that this game we just played was a "must win" against an easy opponent. Hmmmm....they were saying the same thing last year after the Pats lost to the Bills and the Iggles lost their first two games. Where did they end up? Give it till midseason. I'm optimistic we'll be 4-4 at that point.

We could very well come out of that 0-3 and be 0-4 for the season. --------------------- c'mon man. Oakland got beat by the friggin Steelers. NE is coming to our house and the Jets don't have any D. We can take these games.

Lord knows that's the truth. Both the Iggles and the Pats lost their opening games last year. And Bmore, KC and Indy lost this week. It happens. We're going to have to win one we aren't suppose to. Note to self: Stay optimistic!!!!

I agree with NC, while I was disappointed yesterday I wasn't expecting anything. As I said before this team is still being shaped. There were some great things to build on. The pass rush looked good, we created two turnovers, and the Mike stuck with the rushing game. Oakland doesn't have the front that Jax does and I'm optimistic about next week. The bye is coming at a great time b/c it's going to give Mike a chance to look at what worked and didn't work plus give him an extra week for NE. It's the first game and I'm just as disappointed as most of you.....but, it also was the first game for Mularkey, Willis and that O line together. We'll get it right.

If we are talking about the goal line stance. We should have run it again. Drew isn't going to bootleg or anything like that b/c he's too slow. He's outdated and we have to play smashmouth. Otherwise, expect these types of games all year.
