  1. We can talk all we want about either team but if it wasnt for the Yanks and Sox right now, baseball would be in the same place hockey is.... Nowhere! ------------------ As much as I hate to admit it, you are absolutely right! There are some other great rivalries, Cubs/Cards, Dodgers/Giants, A's/Angels, Braves/Phils but they are no where near what you guys have.
  2. Kind of like Bills fans talking about... Not going there. Please ban Kota. --------------------------- Talking about what? I don't get it.
  3. Gotta love Sox fans talking about choking...especially seeing we have a WS ring from 1995.
  4. see we already put our rival away. The Fish and the Phils. Just like the Cards did to the Cubs. We lead our division by 8.5 games. It's not our fault the Yanks choked away a huge lead midseason.
  5. Nooooo his forward progress had stopped.
  6. Hysterical.... " We only lost by a total of 6 points " Yeah, and one game we choked away the other we weren't even close until Bledsoe completed a hail mary. Bledsoe was 11/22 yesterday with 103 yards if you don't count the final fluke drive. And sacked 7 times. The "ELUSIVE" Willis McGahee and Travis Henry combined to average 3 ypc. And we haven't even discussed the 3rd and 27 play. Positives? I'm sick of making excuses for this team. It's been WAY too long since we played like we have a set of balls.
  7. wow, another meaningless series victory. You are still both going to the playoffs. Whoop de do. Between you and Red Sox fans it just amazes me that you have anything left to cheer about in the postseason...
  8. uhhhh......EVERY discussion after last year said that we needed to address the O line first. Was it done? Was it? What was the change? Villereal? Bringing in McNally? No change was made to the line. WHICH WE ALL SAW AS THE #1 PRIORITY.....so don't tell me that we are getting what we need.
  9. blah, blah, blah. Mularkey made the right call on running the ball.
  10. Henry looks to get hit and McGahee tries to avoid getting hit by being elusive. ------------------ Elusive at the 1? There isn't any room for elusiveness at the 1 and this game wasn't the first game of the preseason either! McGahee is a waste of roster space and money with Travis being the starter.
  11. Last year we started against the Pats and Jags looking like an offensive juggernaut. The D looked unbeatable and the special teams play was decent. 2-0. This year we start against the Jags and Raiders and the O is looking like crap, the D is trying thier best but can't seem to get the big plays stopped and the special teams have been downright awful. 0-2. So, here's my question. If we basically doing the reverse of last year is it feasible that we could go 10-4, the opposite of last year? I don't know if 10-6 will get you in, but it would be pretty close. I'm NOT optimistic, but I question it b/c we completely changed after the second game last year. Perhaps the trend will remain the same.
  12. ah well, it seems like that's what everyone is saying. That's why we needed a bigger back. Wouldn't you love to have a Zack Crokett or a Ty Wheatley in those situations?
  13. We don't have two backs like a Stephen Davis and a DeShaun Foster Or a Ty Wheatley and Amos Zeroue or Justin Fargas or Duce Staley and Jerome Bettis even Charlie Garner and Mike Alstott we have two backs that are the same size!!!! How do "change things up" when the backs are exactly the same? One of these guys has to go. It's a waste of money especially with Shaud Williams available.
  14. We shouldn't have drafted McGahee in the first place. He does not fit into this offense. He is basically the same back as Travis except "they say" he has better hands. Great. Now deal his ass and get someone like a Freddie Jones from Arizona to help us out.
  15. It would help if we could find a TE that was a dominating blocker as well.
  16. a FG??? Where the hell would we get the O to actually score a FG against them? Pats 31 Bills 0
  17. 14-20 under Bedsore since his addition. 4-12 in last 16 under Bedsore.... when does the madness end?????
  18. On the right track? yeah, for an 0-16 season. We weren't playing "good" teams these last two games we were playing average teams....so, how can you say we're on the right track? 7 sacks? Two TD's in two games...one of them basically meaningless? Please.
  19. And the same record the Patriots had after 2 games in 2001....until Mo Lewis sent Drew into the intensive care unit, and the 0-2 Patriots were forced to replace their "franchise QB" with a second year 6th round draft pick.... ---------------- Bring in Shane
  20. Call it a hunch but I think the Pats are going to have more than their hands full in Buffalo on the 3rd. ----------------------------------------------- gotta say you are further along in the 5 stages of coping than I am. You must be at acceptance b/c I'm still in anger.
  21. Wins over the Dolphins are not a sure thing. --------------------------------------------------- I was thinking the same thing. Their D is very good and their O is atroucious. Before we go saying "oh, these are two easy wins" just realize that if we turnover the ball once and don't get any ourselves we'll lose those games too.
  22. Red and Blue hurt us the most. 3rd and 27?
  23. Did you see either of their games? The both SUCK as well. TB has NO offensive line. NONE. And KC's defense allowed 180 yards on the ground.
  24. I am on. BLEDSOE is a great guy. But, he's not fit to be a QB anymore.
