It's really tough to tell from the one game. But, we looked good on D and decent on O in the first game. We will run the ball quite a bit even if it isn't gaining tons of yardage and we seem to be building on the short passing game rather than going vertical. Not only that but I'm more concerned with the Marlins than the Cards right now. If they get in they have by far the best staff in the NL with Beckett, Willis, Burnett and Pavano. You too should be concerned b/c if they make it you get them in a five game set. That's why I'm rooting for the Giants to get in. I'll take my chances with the Cards but I got a baddddd feeling that the Fish are going to get in and win the NL again.

Last time I checked St. Louis won both series against you this year.........and is 10 games better then you in the standings. So why exactly do you think Atlanta has any chance of beating the Cardainsl??? I just have to know. Who don't have much past Adrian Beltre. So, we'd face each other in a 7 game series. With Suppan, Marquis, Carpenter and Morris facing Ortiz, Wright, Byrd and either Hampton/Horam or Thomson I think it's even. Offensively.... C Estrada v. Matheny edge Estrada 1B Pujols v. Why is it that in the game Canada competes in there are "Cups" for the winner? Stanley Cup, Grey Cup? Is it to motivate the players so they think they will get more Labatts?

Except he is picking out people for being 2 to 3 minutes early rather than five. NO ONE was late. These guys are dedicated to their job. And by fining Michael Strahan of all friggin people. He's losing the confidence of his players as a leader. All they are going to think is "this guy is an ass." They've already appealed the fines. I just don't understand how this is going to build a team enviroment. This isn't the military where people are ruled by their superiors. It's the NFL. Players should respect their coaches. I don't think this is being disrespectful.

yep, and we'll see the Yanks get smothered when it comes around. They just don't have the staff this year to get it done. In the AL I'm taking the Twins. Underrated staff. In the NL I'm taking (by a very slim margin) the Braves. Twins v. Braves WS. Braves win in 7. Unfortunately, the ratings will be crap b/c no one except fans of the Braves and Twins will watch.

Red Sox are gonna make the playoffs and thats the bottom line now, as long as they are in they can win it all, Im not sure if this weekends series means everything like some make it out to be. --------------------- Who cares....Braves are gonna win it all anyways. :-)

Man, that's even worse than watching it in person.....you feel so out of control. If you were watching it though you probably would have felt as out of control during the entire final drive. It was a drive that Leftwich got lucky and we played dumb. I wouldn't feel crappy about it though. But, many people here seem to.
