I remember someone posting a story about this game - he said he was about 10 and both a Bills & Falcons fan... When Deion ran the TD, some drunk Bills fan chucked a beer his direction (he was wearing a Falcons jersey) and his dad got up and beat the guy's ass. ------------------------- yeah, that was me. But, the truth of the story is it was the opening kickoff when Deion got caught and then later on he ran back another KO. And the score was 41-14 Bills. But, at the time it was pretty close. I don't remember the exact score/ He never went in to the dressing room. He played every snap of the game. And as far as laying him out, they caught him. It wasn't "laid out" Lastly, if the Deion was on the Bills you would love him as much as anyone else on the team. Cocky, yes. Annoying, yes. But, in his day he was the premier shut down corner and punt/KO returner in the game. I am a Bills fan, but I am also a Falcons fan.

X's and O's are the beauty of the game. To me it's like pitch selection and location in baseball...without it the game would be boring!!!!

I give them credit, don't get me wrong. But Brady was patient with his throws as well. Remember in the first drive when he threw a quick out to his slot reciever and they went nowhere? They killed us on that play a couple years ago but they NEVER went back to it in the game. Brady has some great coaches, great recievers and great lineman. But, he's also a great QB. He's my fantasy starter and even though I wanted to see him do poorly for bits and kibbles, I knew he wouldn't.

I'm right there with ya USMC there's nothing I'd like to see more than a Corey/Brady bashing at the Ralph in a few weeks.

LOL...what is killing me is that TB went 26/38 and had a off series at the end. And this was the first game. If the guy is rusty you might as well hand them the Lombardi Trophy now. I'm looking forward to watching them play Seattle. I can't wait to see Holmgren with his fired up squad v. Brady's boys. Now they have an O equivilant to the Colts and a D that is much better. Oh and of course against us when we lay the smack down on D.

Everyone hates the best team....it's just part of the landscape. I actually rooted for the Pats against the Rams....and now I can't stand the b@stards.

No I haven't see them in High Def....of course that would take a High Def TV which I don't have. But someday I will darn it! I usually watch on TBS.

absolutely it is, it's all about the read. Brady is excellent at reading. But, if you watched last night he didn't send any of the WR's in motion. It was all reading off the TE in this case. I'm not talking in generalities. I'm talking about the Pats.

The personnel isn't the issue.....it's going to be the how the D is called.

Not good enough if the pass rush doesn't materialize. ------------------------- but, the point is that if they have five guys on the line and a TE staying home. Then the five wide set has equal blockers. It wasn't a five wide set anyways...it was a four wide with a TE loose off the line.

not only that but the Sox have score more runs and allowed less over the entire season. Which means their offense is better and their pitching is better than the Yanks. They are going to the postseason. You may want to keep your tounge and fingers in check until you finish.

To add to my post.....possibly sending a blind side corner to blitz and keep both LB's in zone would confuse Brady as well.

I was watching this and the trick was that the TE was going on some plays and not on others. Brady is reading this and seeing what they are in, man or zone. The issue here is that MM is probably going to end up facing it at some point as well. Really, the only way to get past it is to put the secondary in zone and keep the LB in man if you are playing in the dime package so Brady can't read them. It would still give you a five man rush if you choose to send the opposite LB.
