Take for instance the fact that Braves ERA is 3.71. A .02 difference between our staffs. Also take in to account the Braves OBP is .344 to your .345. A .001 difference.

Now it's hard to exactly how good a Vick/Barlow or Johnson combination would be but it could be argued it's better then the Brees/Thomlinson combination has been thus far in San Diego. -------------------------------------- No doubt....Rivers needs to get in there....the Brees experiment should end quick.

The cool thing is that the Braves have the Cubs the last three games of the year. C'mon and root for us BF that way neither of us have to watch them in the playoffs as long as the Giants do their job.

Another thing Kota....Atlanta's wideout's aren't that great...and what would you do if your WR's weren't open and you knew you could snap off some yardage by foot? Finneran, Price(bust) and White? Alge Crumpler is the only decent reciever on the team.

Otherwise he is going to have a short carrier. Just look at Mcnair. He is banged up again. ------------ Funny how McNair has taken his team to the playoffs the majority of the time he's been there and he was 1 yard short of winning a SB. But, Vick will never get there because he's mobile.

Keep your blinders on then. Your arguement is weak. You are saying that the that the Chargers that are 13-22 with LT have more value than a Vick led Falcons that are 17-7-1 with him at the helm? Give me a break. This is his second full year starting. Second year...of course he's no Manning.

Buff, the backups were horrible. Horrible. Kurt Kittner and Doug Johnson? C'mon man....I've given you the numbers you can see what a difference maker Vick is. They were constantly 3 and out. And it's the same D as last year. Somehow they are now ranked 11th in the NFL. And as far as the Packers game? My point is it doesn't matter if Vick throws for 200 YDS (which he rarely does) or runs for 100...it's him back there that is the difference maker. He keeps D's on their heels. In my mind the guy is by far the most valuable player in the NFL.

you've got to be kidding me....the Chargers absolutely suck. The Falcons are 3-0. If the Chargers had Vick I have no doubts that they would be in the Falcons shoes. LT is great....but QB's are difference makers. Would the Colts have won that game yesterday if Drew Brees was starting even though they have a great back in Edge James in the back field. No.

And their defense went from one of the best to one of the worst last year. -------------- Of course this didn't have anything to do with Kurt Kittner and Doug Johnson starting at QB? Or that the Falcs were 2-10 prior to Vick coming back but 3-1 in their final four?

agreed Buff. My arguement was simply that no matter what all the people say about Vick being an "average" QB his record as a starter is 17-7-1. That's a 75% success rate. That on an average season translates to a 12-4 record. I don't know what people discredit the guy.....

Looks like defense is either getting better...or most teams have offensive problems. Too many 3 and outs...makes for a boring game. ----------------------------- To me it's almost like every team is practically identical except for some nominal differences. There really aren't any "identities" like their use to be.

But hey our OL sucks right? I mean the top two OL's in the NFL are having as bad to a worse time than us...but only WE Suck.... ------------------------------- KC's D is just awful...awful I say! Any who said we were the only one's that suck? Last time I checked Miami sucks and thier O line is horrible, the Browns suck and their O line is horrible, SF sucks and their O line is horrible, Arizona sucks and their O line is horrible, TB sucks and their O line is horrible......does anyone notice a trend?????? KC is an outsider in my opinion. They are better offensively than most teams but if they have to put up 100 points to win they are going to have a hard time doing it.

After watching parts of the Giants/Cleveland, Eagles/Lions, Pack/Colts, Falcons/Cards and Raiders/Bucs games I can honestly say that my interest level in the NFL is dwindling. I use to love watching other teams than the Bills....but the level of play seems to be nowhere near what it use to be. To me it's starting to become a lot like the NBA.....overpaid stars who just celebrate every little thing they do on the field to make sportscenter. The Falcons game was the worst example...I've never seen a more poorly played game in my life. Perhaps it's just me......but I ended up watching more baseball on Sunday than football.

Miami has had the worst luck this year. Between Ricky, David Boston and the two hurricanes I'm starting to feel bad for them.....well, maybe not bad but a little like they are getting scamed.

Vick is the most overrated, overhyped, crappy QB in the history of the game. Oh, yeah....the Falcons were 11-5-1 and beat the Packers with him in Labeau two years ago in the playoffs and they are 3-0 with him this year. But, they were real successful with him out.....5-11. I'd rather have VICK in a second over Drew. His wideouts stink. Peerless is not a number 1 reciever by any stretch of the imagination.
