Go Braves. As good as Houston is and as hot as Houston is everyone seems to be overlooking the facts that in the last week and a half of the season we knocked the Marlins and the Cubs out of the playoffs. We won 6 out of our last 8. Our team ERA is second best in the NL. Jaret Wright and John Thomson since the all star break (going 1&2) Jaret 9-3 3.04 ERA John 7-1 2.52 ERA Clemens and Oswalt since all star break Rocket 8-1 3.24 ERA Oswalt 10-3 3.51 ERA And the lineup of these two two teams are basically the same. Will the Braves sweep? No. Will they win the series? Absolutely if the pitching stays hot. Perhaps we have a bunch of overachievers in the starting staff...but somehow Leo M always seems to get the most out of so-called scrubs.

So what? they won the games they were suppose to.....isn't that a mark of a team headed to the playoffs? I think it's going to be intriguing seeing the Cowgirls, Giants and Iggles all look good right now. The only one I think is SB worthy is the Iggles...but hey you never know.

One of the promotions is that if you buy a ticket for the first game at Turner Field you get one for the second game free.
