Wellll....... talk about a whirlwind tour. On Friday at 5:30 my wife calls me and tells me she has to work on Sunday, one of the other nurses had to go out of town on a family emergency (today). so, here I am with Metallica tickets for today that I dropped $140.00 on and no one to go with. I am freaking out b/c first I wanted to see Metallica and second.....I spend a ton of moolah! I talk to one of my co-workers and they offer to buy the tickets off me....so, I hesitated and then made the deal. I get home on Friday all bummed out and tell my wife I sold the tickets. Jokingly, she says "well, they are playing in Albany tommorrow." And I say...I'm not driving all the way to Albany. Well, I ended up driving to Albany. The concert was great! I'm glad I got to see them in concert. The rotating stage was pretty cool b/c you got to see Lars during each set in different positions. And then when they played "One" with all the pyros...oh, it was great. I'm a little slow today seeing I drove 400 miles over the last two days and drank like a fool last night. But, hey, I got to spend some quality time with my wifey got to see Metallica and Oh, yeah, the Braves are still alive. Is there a football game today?

I don't care for Rome either. I drive a lot on my job and whenever he comes I switch him off.

one of the girls I work with was trying to get rid of her tickets...she waited till 4 PM to tell anyone. She ended up not going and bit the bullet for 66.50 per ticket. two tickets....

Gantrules: Being that we are both Bills and Braves fan, and you're the only other person I've ever met that I've shared that with, I'm curious about something.....What led you to become fans of both? ------------------ Braves fan b/c my father is. We use to go to Shea, Cincy or Montreal and see them in the summer almost every year during the 80's and early 90's. We use to watch them on TBS almost every night. I still get to see them quite a bit, I went to spring training this year. No regular season games though....I was suppose to go see them in Detroit...but it didn't work out. Bills fan...my mom and my stepfather are Bills fans. Plus we don't live that far away. They got me in to the sport big time. They by far are marginal fans....they hardly ever watch the games now that the Bills aren't what they use to be. How about you?

I see you responded to my post by not answering anything at all. Why would the Braves be chokers in 2004? I'll be the first to admit it would be nice to have more rings. Here's the funny thing though. We are one of only five teams to win a ring in the last 10 years. We have a ring. So, until the Cards actually win a ring of recent vintage don't bother calling the Braves chokers. 1982 was a completely different playoff structure. The only team that has done more than them is the Yanks over the last 15 years. LaRussa had plenty of opportunities to get the job done. Plenty. FYI.....The Braves of 03 scored more runs than the Cards of 04. 907 to 854.

Can't say I'm suprised -------------------------------- Hey BF, I've been respectful to you for the entire year. The entire year. But, I'm sick of your stevestojan. It's only a choke job if you are a favorite retard. The simple fact is dumbass that the Astros have a stacked lineup and an awesome rotation. We weren't even suppose to make it this year...but yet somehow the team got the job done. If we had lost the first game and had that lineup and rotation then we would be the chokers.
