Agreed - they aggressively take the ball after winning the coin toss, Titans are on the road with a backup QB and their top CB injured, but then like you or someone else said they come out and call two failed runs up the gut and have to throw on third and long (and drop the throw), punt. That is just not how you start fast at home (esp. where the other team's strength is up the middle on defense).

And the sideline judge was two feet away! The issue with replay is that it’s just sending it over to other idiots to review the call on the field. Let the idiots on the field make the call if this is how it works.

I have so moved on from the McBeane Regime regardless of whether they win today. I’m done with them.

The story is that Beane’s pro personnel dept is really bad at their jobs. Close to $6m pissed away this offseason on Mike Edwards and MVS. If you add in Hollins and Samuel it starts to look hideous.

He is playing it like he did in basketball, waiting to see how the defender is leaning and then trying to uncover the opposite way. It’s what he knows right now. He just needs more time dude.

I am interested to see how the season plays out. Admittedly I expected more from him this year than what we’ve seen so far, but I don’t think the full story is written yet.

You are completely missing my point. I am not comparing him to Coleman - I would've drafted both. And in no universe is a starting boundary receiver worth less than a backup running back.

It can’t be done already they exercised next year’s option. With Edmunds they declined it.

Carter is the player I feel the worst about - I just don’t see much of a ceiling there. Hope he proves me wrong of course. Agree re Davis - who I really like and liked in the draft - he’s not materially different from Ty Johnson (or Ty Chandler or Raymond Chandler). You can find these guys anywhere.

He is going to get around $18-$22M per season, that's what the market is going to pay for him. Personally I DO think he's worth that for the Bills.

Completely disagree with this btw. A backup RB and backup interior D lineman are not "looking better" than a starting boundary receiver who last night was featured in the game plan.
