This. The Bills’ receivers aren’t strong to the ball. This is priority number one for the offseason.

The defense solved a complicated offense. The offense couldn’t solve a pretty good, blitz-heavy defense. Not the best look for Daboll and the o-line coach - protection was a complete mess today. They should be ashamed about the lack of preparation for a key game.

Bills played hard but made too many mistakes. Protection was a DISASTER. Morse should give back his game check. Allen was seeing ghosts and bailing early all day. Receivers don’t fight for the ball like they do on other teams. Whatever. We’ll see them again in January.

Why didn’t the clock stop on the 12 men penalty? This game is either fixed, or the officiating is criminally negligent.

Allen is terrible today. Horrible.

Both QBs are in the exact right situations for their careers.

Highly doubt that. Neither one of them had that kind of leverage.

Again, the question isn't for McD, it's for Terry... Oakland traded Gruden to Tampa and then lost to him in the Super Bowl - can you imagine??

Probably not. For two first round picks, would you do it?

Wonder if Dan Morgan would be a candidate there for GM or head of football ops or something that would be a promotion.

The better question is, would Terry entertain a trade of his head coach? I raised this possibility last offseason - if Tepper or Jerry Jones offered a first or two firsts for McD, would Terry make that trade? I don’t think Tepper wants a defensive coach so it’s probably moot but it’s not an unprecedented event, it happened with Gruden. It’s not entirely out of the realm of possibility.

The pure pass rushers always rise up the board by draft day. Always.

Don't count on it this Sunday. Johnson is notorious for losing contain and other teams have taken advantage of it every time he's been on the field. Wouldn't be surprised to see him inactive on Sunday - he's just not a fully baked cookie.

He still - STILL - looks out of shape to me. How many other EDGE rushers do you see with a beer gut? I'm glad he's playing with a bit more suddenness this year but it was absolutely the right call not to exercise the option.

He has done it before and he knows that the real season starts after Thanksgiving. This is the time that good teams buckle down, eliminate the noise, and focus on what’s directly in front of them. Last time the Ravens won the Super Bowl they started the season mediocre and got hot in late November and never lost another game. This season feels similar for them. Hopefully McD, who isn’t used to success as a HC, already has taken notes from Reid and Rivera about ratcheting up the intensity starting NOW.

Don't shoot the messenger here - if there is really going to be a historic influx of WR talent next year, we'll also need to draft another CB or two...
