I don't know that I would *expect* Cardale to be the odd man out. It's certainly possible. It's also very possible that they really like what they see out of Peterman and/or Jones and Yates is cut after Training Camp. He never said he was guaranteed a roster spot. I really like Whaley's drafts. They haven't always worked out for us, but at the time of the pick - he generally always found good value. As opposed to reaching for guys like Donte Whitner or Torrell Troup, for example. If he's out, I hope McDermott isn't the type to fall in love with a prospect and pick them earlier than he should.

Didn't they just fire Scott Bertchold as Head of Communications and hire Derek Boyko? So if we have a new head of PR - why are we bringing in a PR coach? Seems unnecessary.

So back to what I said in the beginning - he was using us for leverage to where he really wants to go. Never made sense to "take a visit" with the team he was just with. Unless he wanted other teams to know about it.
