Preston Brown thinks he can help the Patriots
BillsFanForever19 replied to Domdab99's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Preston Brown stays on the field. Never ever gets hurt. ... that's about the extent of my Preston Brown positivity. Honestly don't care if he stays or goes. Dude's JAG. -
Does signing Vontae say anything about EJ Gaines?
BillsFanForever19 replied to Ramza86's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Johnson was more than adequate at Nickel. When Tre, Gaines, and LJ were on the field - it was a no fly zone. The problems occurred when Wright would have to fill in for EJ. Which was too often for my liking. -

100% this - good call. And if Vontae goes off and leaves, we'll get a comp from him. Spotrac puts Gaines' value at 9.3 mil a year. Neither he nor Vontae Davis is signing on to be the first Corner off the bench. Especially not on the open market, which is always hungry for CB's. I liked what I saw when Gaines played. But he was injured WAY too often. I don't understand why some people are heartbroken over losing him. -

E.J. Gaines is GONE. There were rumblings that he was going to leave here as soon as his contract was up. Tre White even implied as much on Gaines' IG at the end of the year. The signing of Vontae guarantees that they're moving on. All of the analysts agree. If you think Vontae Davis, who had multiple options, is anything but a Gaines replacement - you're in denial. https://buffalofootballbeat.com/2018/02/01/poyer-white-comment-on-ej-gaines-posted-photo-suggesting-bills-departure/ -
Now they like Josh Allen in Trade Up?
BillsFanForever19 replied to PIZ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like Josh Allen. ... if Josh Rosen, Sam Darnold, and Baker Mayfield are off the board. And we're picking him in the 12-21 range. -
According to thebuffalofanatics Instagram page - the Bills are shopping LeSean McCoy. They claim they "dug deep" and "spoke to a source close to the situation". I don't buy it. At his age and contract number, the return would be minimal for our best player on Offense. But a lot of people take them with their close to 50k followers as gospel. If they did move him, I would be furious. I think it would be a terrible decision. What say you?

Tyrod wants to “Continue to be accurate..”
BillsFanForever19 replied to stevestojan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wasn't saying that's what he does on EVERY play. What I was saying was that a QB could have 100% completion pct by dumping it off on every single play. And as such, that stat is pretty flawed. Especially if you're trying to say it pertains to a throwers accuracy. No, Tyrod doesn't dump off every play. But I think you'd be fooling yourself if you thought that a lot of those "passes" weren't Shady picking up chunks after the touch. And let's be honest - he's not throwing the ball unless a guy is sitting in his route and staring at him. So his completion percentage and lack of INT's is of no surprise and worth very little to me. -

BillsFanForever19 replied to stevestojan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I know this was 5 pages ago - but this statement couldn't be anymore wrong. A guy could throw 100% of his passes two feet in front of him and as long as the RB doesn't drop it; he'd have 100% completion percentage. Which, honestly, isn't far off from what Taylor does. Completion percentage has ZERO barring on accuracy. -
Draft Wire Full 7 Rd Mock

A 1st on Mason Rudolph? Gross. -
Yes and I don't care when! In my opinion, all of the trading we did for picks was to accure capital to FINALLY select a Franchise QB they believe in. Just like the Eagles did. And the Rams. And the Bucs. And the Titans. It worked out great for all of them. But somewhere along the way, everyone has become obsessed with keeping every pick. If we don't trade up, we're not going to get one of the top 4 guys. Simple as that.

Hate to say it...Tyrod will be back
BillsFanForever19 replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think this franchise would sooner turn to Josh McCown or Sam Bradford/Case Keenum with Peterman and another draft pick. I don't think us missing out on Cousins and Smith changes a thing re: Tyrod. -
The one thing I am afraid of in the draft...
BillsFanForever19 replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If it makes you feel any better, you'll never know if it does happen. Whomever they pick - they're gonna say it was THE guy they fell in love with during the draft process. Even if he really was their 3rd choice, who would ever admit it? -

It IS insensitive to say "I hope it's (X)" It isn't insensitive to think of which players would or would not be more devastating to the long term franchise plans. The latter is just human nature as a fan of a team. -

Lucky that went out of bounds. I'm getting a little leary at how often Clay is putting the ball on the ground, as of late. -
Doug Flutie- Lead the Charge?
BillsFanForever19 replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Really? Because my very first interaction with him was in Fredonia looking for an autograph. I called out his name as he was walking to the dorms and he walked up to the makeshift fence and signed for me and my family. And when the Bills moved to Fisher - I saw him signing a lot of autographs there too. Not saying you're wrong. But it definitely flies in the face of what i've seen and experienced from Doug. -
Doug Flutie- Lead the Charge?

Wow, I must have missed the memo where everyone decided it's hip to bash on him decades later. Are any of you Flutie hating edgelords Pro-Tyrod Taylor? Just wondering because I think that would make my head explode. -
@FieldYates: Source: the Bills, who are dealing with QB injuries right now, worked out former Panthers QB/ST-er Joe Webb. Familiar to Brandon Beane. I'd swap him out for T.J. Yates in a heartbeat. And you get a Special Teamer.
