New York Jets on the Road: The Jets are on a helluva roll right now. They're 7-5 and are running on all cylinders. They annhilated Brett and the Packers last week on the road. They know that their last 4 games are against teams under .500. They smell the playoffs. 2.) Miami Dolphins at Home: This is probably the best chance we have at a win and I expect them to pull it out. But it won't be as easy as we thought it would be. Joey Harrington is emerging as their QB and Ronnie Brown is a terror on the ground. 3.) Tennessee Titans at Home: Wow, this kid thinks he's back in Texas. And their RB is running better than he ever did in Buffalo. He'll have a little more steam in his step returning to the Ralph. By the way, they just handed Peyton only his 2nd loss of the season. 4.) Baltimore Ravens on the Road: This game looked like it was going to be the Bills starters against the Ravens reserves. Unfortunately, after the Ravens loss to the Bengals and what seems like a million AFC teams driving for a playoff berth; Baltimore will be playing for something. NOW you'll notice that Buffalo is currently sitting at 14. But what a lot of people haven't noticed is that this year is different than the last couple years in that most teams are winning more. So there isn't a whole lot seperating the teams. As a matter of fact, the difference between Buffalo picking at 14 and Houston picking at 5 is one win! Last year we picked at 8 with a record of 5-11. This year's 8 could be someone with a record of 6-10 or 7-9. Another thing to look at is the playoff picture. 12 teams make it to the playoffs every year. With Buffalo not making it, they won't be picking any lower than 20. But again, with the way the AFC is playing out; teams with a record of 10-6 or 9-7 will just barely miss. So it's pretty much impossible that we'll be picking at the higher end of 15. I predict we finish the season 7-9 (although 6-10 is a DEFINITE possibility) and will be picking at 10 or 11. With that said, here's a look at the top 13 players, in no particular order (Jr's included are pretty much locks to come out): Brady Quinn, QB Notre Dame Joe Thomas, OT Wisconsin Calvin Johnson, WR Georgia Tech (Jr.) Adrian Peterson, RB Oklahoma (Jr.) Ted Ginn Jr., WR Ohio State (Jr.) Dwayne Jarrett, WR USC (Jr.) Marshawn Lynch, RB California (Jr.) Alan Branch, DT Michigan (Jr.) Paul Poluzsny, LB Penn State Gaines Adams, DE Clemson Jake Long, OT Michigan (Jr.) Leon Hall, CB Michigan Troy Smith, QB Ohio State (or) JaMarcus Russell, QB LSU (Jr.) [One or both will be a top pick] Now with the exception of the QB's (I pray J.P. is the guy), I would kill to have any of those guys. Really? The way I see it, 20 teams don't make the playoffs. So we DEFINITELY won't be picking any lower than 20. This year with the way the AFC is playing out there's going to be a handful of teams with 9-7 or 10-6 records that won't get into the postseason. Buffalo's last 4 games are FAR from easy. We're going into the Meadowlands where they are on one helluva roll. Then we have the Dolphins at home who have started to get it together (although this is probably the game we have the best chance in). Then it's the red hot Titans with Vince Young coming off of wins against both Mannings and then the Ravens in Baltimore who will probably still be playing for something after their loss this week. We'll be lucky to walk away with two of those games. If you think we're picking after 15, you've got some dreams. It would be nice, but I don't see it. Of that list (which I outright stated a lot would be gone by), you'll notice no QB's, CB's, or S's. Brady Quinn will most likely be the top pick and he wasn't included. Michigan CB Leon Hall as well. If you think that by the time we pick 3 teams will be taking WR's, 2 teams will be taking a RB, 2 teams will be taking an OT, and the rest of the players will go before us you're sadly mistaken. Some of the people on that list are slated to go when we pick and you never know who will fall. And again, I didn't include all of the top prospects. I guarantee at least two of those players will still be there when we pick.

I see us winning two of the final 4 games, bringing us to 7-9. The top 20 picks will be reserved for teams that didn't make the playoffs. There will be more than 3 teams ranked ahead of us. While I don't think we'll have a top 10 pick, I don't think we'll be picking as low as 17. Even so, I don't think that Calvin Johnson, Ted Ginn Jr., and Dwayne Jarrett will all be picked by the time we pick. I'd rank each of them above Notre Dame's Great White Shark. The TE Miller isn't worthy of that high of a pick. I don't know that OG Blaylock is either. If we traded down, I could see one of them. But I think there will be better players available then them when we pick. DeMarcus Tyler is interesting, but I think we have enough young DT's (drafting two in last years draft). I think DT will be addressed with a veteran. It looks like you're running off of a list of seniors as well. There will be a LOT of Juniors coming out like every year. It's my belief that one or more of the following will be available when we pick and should be taken (some of which will DEFINITELY be gone, but you never know who will fall for what reasons): Joe Thomas, OT Wisconsin Jake Long, OT Michigan (Jr.) Calvin Johnson, WR Georgia Tech (Jr.) Ted Ginn Jr., WR Ohio State (Jr.) Dwayne Jarrett, WR USC (Jr.) Adrian Peterson, RB Oklahoma (Jr.) Marshawn Lynch, RB California (Jr.) Alan Branch, DT Michigan (Exception to the rule because he is AWESOME) Paul Poluzsny, LB Penn State Gaines Adams, DE Clemson I'd rank all of those players above the players you have on this poll.

I don't think anyone will argue that Willis had a good game. However, his dancing and patience paid off in big dividends last week (and not just the 30 yard TD). With the exception of the last two games, he was running hard and forward like he was A-Train all season. There will be weeks when you can't run and you run into guys like Jamal Williams. That's going to happen.

I respect everything that Travis did for us. However, i'm simply pointing out how asinine it is that Willis' character has come under fire more than any other Bill (or Bills RB) in recent history when that's the type of character we had before.

I like Jarrett and the idea of picking a big WR. But I don't know if the organization would be ready to throw the towel in at the $10 million investment of Peerless Price so soon. I also know that Lee Evans is our #1 and that Roscoe Parrish should be no lower than #3 on the chart. But I don't think we'll be picking that high anymore

Amen brother! I was just about to make a similiar post before I noticed yours. First off, the guy had 3 broken ribs. The timetable for an injury like that was 6 weeks (and don't talk to me about Travis because his injuries weren't as servere) and he came back after only missing two games? Are you kidding?! One of the first things I noticed from Section 244 yesterday was him running across the field before kickoff to join in prayer with Shaud Williams. The next thing that struck me was how well he was blocking for Losman yesterday (there was in particular that was awesome, but I can't remember when it happened). But off of those injuries the guy played like a madman. His two TD's were beautiful. His first one was probably even more impressive but won't get as much cred because it was only a few yards. But he really made a lot of impressive cuts. Not only that but he dove in the end zone chest and ribs first to ensure he crossed the plane both times. I know if I had broken ribs, I sure as hell wouldn't be diving chest first! And his comments after the game?: "I just couldn't sit another game. Two games were too much. We're winning. I'm just glad to be a part of it again". Anyone who wants to say that he runs with no heart or is selfish can kiss my ass! As for A-Train, I think Willis would have done better than Thomas against Indy and certainly better than him in Houston! So what he came from the "U"? So what he has said some stupid things sometimes? Save the talk of "he doesn't want to play here" until he provides us with proof of that. Right now the man IS a Buffalo Bill and i'm damn proud that he is. But I suppose he'll never be a true Buffalo Bill like the statuatory rapeing, marijuna smoking; Travis Henry.

What games have you been watching this year? Before his injury, Willis was running harder than i've ever seen him run. Anyone who thinks the A-Train is a better back is ridiculous. I understand Willis is from "The U" and comes off a little dickish. But some of you need to look past that to his talent. I GUARANTEE that Willis would have done a whole helluva lot better than 56 yards in 19 carries against Houston. I'm even more positive that he would have put better than 108 against Indy if he was force fed the ball 28 times against the worst run D in the NFL.

With 7,000 tickets remaining it looks like the sellout streak dating back to the Oct. 31 game against Arizona in 2004 will come to an end this weekend and the game will be blacked out on TV. The Bills have sold out 27 of the last 28 home games.

I'd go for Vonnie Holliday. He's getting up there in age, but he hasn't shown much signs of decline. He'd bring some veteran power in the middle alongside Tripplett and would give McCargo and Williams a year or two to mature.

Yeah..... I sort of cringed when I saw that. I realize they've put the World Title on Sting. I realize they've stolen Christian and Kurt Angle. I realize they've gotten themselves a primetime cable spot. But I think they're pushing their luck calling out the WWE this early. But I love 'em anyways

Oh wow, that's a good idea! I bet they do that. I'm guessing they'll put him on "Smackdown!". They have a lack of talent and could use a new exciting player. If you put him in ECW, it would take away from the newly acquired Bobby Lashley and of course my personal favorite wrestler, CM Punk.

I don't understand it. I get that the kid missed half of training camp because of family issues. But here we are at Week 10 and still nothing! This guy was graded a 1st Rounder by most and was someone we were looking at to replace Nate Clements. Why wouldn't you at least dress the kid?! Could he possibly be that much worse than Jabari Greer or Kiwaukee Thomas? I have a feeling that Jauron and staff are "playing it safe". I'd bet they feel that Thomas and Greer have been playing all season and thus give us a better chance. But I just don't see it and the whole thing is getting ridiculous at this point. You'll never know what you have until you play him in a real game. Practice won't tell you sh-t. All they're doing is delaying the maturing process and as a fan of Youboty in college, i'm getting sick of it.

I'm seeing a lot of this. But on the other hand, i'm seeing a lot of people say that if J.P. doesn't work out that we shouldn't draft a QB. That it would be dumb to start a new project all over again. So if J.P. doesn't work and we don't want to draft a QB or sign/trade one of the guys available, what's the plan?! Hope Nall is the guy?

If it's decided that J.P. isn't the guy at that point, I don't think two great games at the end would matter. I think at that point you have to see if Nall has any potential or if you need to look elsewhere.
