Well, I've been married for 2 years, and one thing the wife knows not to mess with is the Bills, especially the Bills in the playoffs. Already told her if we play at Pitt/NE, I'm there. Indy is more difficult b/c I have to buy a flight, but I'll try. She also knows that in the unlikely event the Bills ever make the SB, nothing that is happening in life, children/money etc., will prevent me from being at that game. Its all about setting the precedent early on and sticking with it.

Restoring ND to the National Championship picture on an annual basis would be extremely difficult, hence my post, that it is very hard to win at ND. It is easier at Florida (academic standards, florida talent etc.). Meyer had a chance to try for legend status and took the easier, safer choice. That probably tells you all you need to know about Urban Meyer as a person. I do know that this is ND's most important hire in a generation. There are a whole bunch of kids who do not even remember ND being relevant and if ND doesn't come back strong, they will fall further and further off the national stage. I want to see them winning and good, for selfish reasons, I'm a die hard Cane fan and want the rivalry renewed.

The deal is that if you win at Florida you are a great football coach, and its pretty easy to do. You win at ND, you're a legend and its not that easy to do. Bottom line....Meyer took the easy way out.

Win or lose, I just want to feel a playoff atmosphere at the Ralph once again. There hasn't been a playoff game at the Ralph since 1996. We haven't really played a do or die game at the Ralph in almost 10 years. I have my tickets and I hope I'm watching my 9-6 Bills beat the ever living stevestojan out of a full-strength Steeler team. Oh yes, we can and will win that game. Steelers ain't so good on the road. We will smack em down baby!! Too bad our victory will ensure the Patsies go to the SB, but so what!!

Amen. It scares me a lot. Mularkey needs to keep his team focused on the task at hand and not allow them to get all full of themselves. You know McGahee is gonna be jacked, the game is in his hometown. He needs to make sure the whole damn team is that focused.

I'm not sure about the Jest. They have 4 very difficult games coming up... JETS- 8-3 Houston Possible L, but a W b/c at home @Pittsburgh Definite L Seattle Possible L, Seattle is not as bad as they were yesterday New England Definite L @St. Louis Definite L Thats 10-6 if they win vs. Seattle, but if Seattle wins, then 9-7. I'm much more concerned about the Ravens. Do you guys honestly think Baltimore will lose to Cinci??? I think the Ravens get one slot for sure at 10-6, Denver collapses and we fight with the Jest for the other one.
