  1. Dr. Z actually nailed it....the essence of kickball!! http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=AqxL...cnnsi&type=lgns
  2. There's a hint in the room with the white fuses.
  3. Thanks!! Now how many times do I have to turn this thing with the drains up? Nevermind, I'm an idiot.
  4. I have the bells thing, put the valve on the pipe and have been turning it, but how many times do I have to turn it? Also, the number code, is there a hint or is it simple trial-and-error-kill-the whole-day-at-work?
  5. But do you KNOW he has an STD? We KNOW the Fit is a gay car.
  6. I could see Parrish being extremely effective in the WR screen that Carolina uses for Steve Smith, or as a check down option when the other WRs are headed long.
  7. Darcy has made some terrific moves and drafted very well for the past few years given our budget constraints. To be fair, however, that 2nd round pick he got for Mika sure helped us when we kept losing D-men in the playoffs. Grier and McKee were good players, not great players. But they brought a physical presence to the ice every night and our team needs to replace that. Also, I'm a little concerned about the apparent references by Grier and Briere about Buffalo being committed to winning. Show some love with long term contracts. I think that would send a message to the locker room that the team was committed to winning. Doling out a few L-T contracts and signing a couple of guys who bring it every night, physically, would make a huge difference towards building on last year's momentum.
  8. I've been saying for a while, this team will suprise us. Not playoffs but 8-8/9-7 with a good foundation for playoffs in 07. ML/DJ know what they are doing.
  9. Now, if thats our new logo I will not be happy and certainly NEVER buy the jersey. But here's an interesting take on the logo. See second post... http://sabresfans.proboards66.com/index.cg...51466387&page=2 Comments?
  10. Dear God NO. Where is the FU smiley when we need it???? Good thing I still have my old REAL blue and gold LaFontaine jersey. Just keep the black and red ones for christ sakes, don't go back to this!!!
  11. Again, the original blue one. Very sharp, dark and forboding with the storm clouds rolling in.
  12. Nice photos. Definately the blue. Not sure where they were taken, but the sepia seems to be at dock somewhere whereas the blue seems to be at sea with a strong storm rolling in.
  13. You just have to figure he was. I've been both a Billy Joel fan and a Spingsteen fan for a long time. They should not be covering each other's songs. Totally different styles.
  14. Yes, we had the Oasis downstairs. Good place that was. I remember when the Princeton review folks were in rating the best party schools, we just kept giving them more and more free drinks, a few sorority girls were all over them and I think they got free drugs in the bathroom. No wonder we were rated highly. Hence, the only time to go is for a nitecap.
  15. Can I get my robot to look like Scarlett Johanssen?

  17. Off the top of my head.... NYC Sutton Place - Fine after work hotties getting loaded Down the Hatch - See Above Turtle Bay - See Above McSorley's - The best. McFadden's - My home away from home in NYC. Chumley's - Former Village Speakeasy is still really cool for a nitecap. In summer for NYC - The West 79th St Boat Basin Cafe and Bryant Park - both spots great for picking up easy after work hotties in the summer. Buffalo 67 West - My home away from home in Law School. Cole's - A classic, and still awesome. Boston Hotel - I remember $1.99 all you can eat shrimp/clams/crab legs on Monday nites, as well as $5.00 pitchers. Colter Bay - Nice for a late nite drink with a honey. In summer - The Pier was great, so was Crawdaddy's. Both are gone now. Albany Ye Old Lamp Post - My employer during college (yes, I bartended there). Washington Tavern - Awesome Fri happy hour with drunk SUNY girls. Elsewhere Pat O'Brien's in New Orleans - Spent most of Mardi Gras 2000 here. Awesome. The Daiquiri Deck - Siesta Key Florida - Great daily happy hour. Senor Frog's in Cancun - Had much fun there senior year in college. The Clevelander in South Beach - Pool Parties with chicks and Wet T-Shirts!! The Cubby Bear in Wrigleyville (Chicago) - Go party with the honeys you just hung out with in the bleachers after a day game!!
  18. You have got to be kidding me? Baseball is about anticipation and reacting. Is the pitcher throwing off-speed stuff, is the SS and the defense adjusting accordingly, where is the ball most likely to be hit, anticipate, react and make the play. I'd like to see any kickball players even attempt anything as difficult as baseball.
  19. I play often on various teams. I have played on very good teams that won championships and very bad teams that lost almost every game. I just love to play. But you're right...I hate "Softball Guy" too. You can spot him from the multiple wristbands he wears. Take it easy on the umps. We have decent umps in our league. I have very little to complain about.
  20. And worth every penny!!
  21. I don't root for the USA to lose in anything. That said, I hate having sports rammed down my throat. World Cup? Who cares. Just like women's soccer a few years ago. Stop telling me I should care. I don't.
