  1. Kelly LeBrock!! She was hot back in the day. Now she's fat.
  2. R.Rich, I agree with you regarding Villarrial. I think either later this year or next year we see Preston as the starter. I think we have the makings of the best line we've had in the past 5+ years here. I'm not saying they will be all-pro, but just seeing adequate blocking is refreshing.
  3. You're absolutely correct. I have met Pat on more than one occassion through the years. A true "gentle giant" off the field. He loved Buffalo, married a Buffalo gal, has several businesses in Buffalo, does much of his charity work in Buffalo and plans to move back to Buffalo when his playing days are done. This is one of the "character" guy you overpay a little to keep around because of what he means to the team. Any doubt he was the soul of that 03-04 D? Any doubt that his last game against Burgh in 04 was one of the finest games I ever saw a D lineman play? Yeah, they lost. Not because of Phat Pat. I will never forgive Dona-!@#$ for fugging up my team. Not re-signing Phat Pat was the worst personnel move he made in his tenure. Pat has proven last year and so far this year that he is more than playing up to his contract, which is modest by NFL standards with 6 mil guaranteed out of 13 mil.
  4. Mine was on 49, too bad the fugging terrorists ruined my view!
  5. I will give you that it does exist, its just not very easy to find. Its even more difficult to find in expensive areas of the country (NYC, SF etc.).
  6. But the story value alone on that type of trip may just be worth it!
  7. Beach bartender, golf pro, forest guide....sound like a lot of fun. Problem is, they don't make any $$$ (with the exception of touring golf pros, different story there). I'm not real sure why it is, but the jobs that sound like they would be the most enjoyable (and I stress sound like because I'm not doing them), pay the least.
  8. Ahhhh....the Holy Grail....I've heard a rumor it may exist, same as Leprechauns and Santa Claus.....but I don't believe it.
  9. His plea called for a max of 10 years. I guess the judge reduced it to 6.
  10. Do me a favor, drive your Fit with those fish on it through the Bible belt for a few weeks. I just want to see what happens!
  11. Great post. I agree. And then you add in the running ability to those GORGEOUS throws that you mentioned. I've seen throws like that once before....the guy could run a little too....oh yeah, a young John Elway!!
  12. I think the short answer could be that we have the best players (Tiger, Mickelson, Furyk) but the Euros have more really good players a cut below. That would explain why we win the majors (an individual competition) and they win the team titles (Ryder Cups etc.).
  13. No one saw me do it...I swear....check EBay....
  14. Next time leave the kids at home and head over with your wife.
  15. My wife did the same thing. Left her job prosecuting child abuse for NYC for a small, private law firm. Law firm paid more cash. She hated it. Wanted to go back to ACS. I actually handle the $$$ in the house. It was a little tight, but we figured we could make it work. I asked my company for a little more $$ and it worked out. She went back to ACS and was happy. Life is too short not to be happy.
  16. Turned every thread into his personal crusade against Drew Bledsoe. Essentially, the thread could be about washing your car, and he would basically turn it into Drew Bledsoe sucks, worst QB ever, why bother washing your car. It was excessive.
  17. On the second play, I couldn't believe McGahee missed the pickup. Until yesterday, I had never seen JP air it out. I also had never seen him run with the guts he showed on the TD run. He's gonna be good. Real good. Its just gonna take a bit of time. The one thing you can't rush is experience. Next week, I hope to see JP get rid of the ball quicker...or at least feel the blind side pressure a bit more. Realize that with the exception of Spikes, Fletcher, Peerless and a few OL, all of our starters and the guys we count on are under 26 years old. Give them time. Chart their progress. Get angry when they make the same mistakes, but realize that how we respond to mistakes and adversity is what will ultimately forge the identity of this team and era of Bills football. The previous years' teams would fall apart. The SB era team would persevere. Lets see what we are made of. This years team is exciting. They are very young. Yesterday, they fought back and made it close. After hearing JP's press conference and reading the papers, there was no finger pointing. Willis was accountable for his missed block. JP was accountable for his fumbles and INTs. This is a good thing. A young team learning what they have to do to win the NFL. Give them time. And root like hell.
  18. He will. Just give him a little time.
  19. I had good seats, with season ticket holders who actually knew football. A little back and forth but thats it.
  20. in Philly, in full Bills gear....no problems.
  21. Good point with Daunte. He had nowhere to go but down after losing Moss. Still, people were buying him like crazy this offseason, you could have made out pretty big by simply shorting him before the year.. As for JP, yesterday I saw a young John Elway. Yep. I really said that. Bold statement. He has the arm, the legs, buys time in the pocket and a biut of a gunslinger. Just give him a bit of experience and look out. Thats why I say STRONG BUY on JP. Buy all you can. Its only gonna get better as he learns more about the game.
  22. Easy everyone. You want to place blame for this loss, blame INEXPERIENCE. Our young D and young guys on O learned some painful lessons about managing a game. The key is not to make the same mistake twice. Our team, one of the youngest in the league, absolutely dominated another NFL team. They made some stupid mistakes that cost us a game, but they dominated. Don't point fingers. This is the type of game a young team loses, learns from, and then wins convincingly. I'm loving this team. They will only get better.
  23. The second JP fumble was a result of Willis missing badly on picking up the safety, we should bring Thurman back to teach him how to pick up a blitz. BTW - We found a QB. The end. JP reminded me of a young John Elway out there yesterday. WTF!!! He looked friggin awesome. He'll learn to take better care of the ball, but my friggin God. Tough loss, but we can take so much away from this game. This is the way a young, inexperienced team that gonna be friggin awesome someday, loses games. Absolutely dominate the opposition but make a few key mistakes that lead to a loss. We'll learn to eliminate those mistakes, then look the f---out!!! I can honestly say that I haven't been this excited for a Bills team and era since 1988!!!!
  24. You always have a few!!! But for the most part you'd better bring the beer goggles!
  25. Nice read.... http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ap-b...ov=ap&type=lgns
