After five years of some pretty crappy football, and seeing the team self destruct in every possible way, I'm being cautious. But it sure was fun to see that 32-18 run/pass ratio and the team finish a close road game!!!

Sully has been much more positive this year. I do think he was no fan of TD...but then neither were any of the rest of us. TD acted like he invented football and would never tell the truth. Marv and Jauron simply say what they think without any pretense or arrogance.

Thats usually the best way to go. The K-Gun was only about 15 set plays, plus a couple added each week for that specific opponent. Its repeating the same thing over and over again until it becomes second nature. Funny, how when we slimmed down both the O and D playbooks, the complaints about our "execution" seem to have dried up.

Nate was on Booker most of the day and McGee was on Chambers, from my watching of the game. And yes, Booker had a couple of nice catches vs. Nate.

Just wondering....how many games under 150 passing yards did Big Ben have in Year 1? I see no problem with ball-control offense (some call it boring), good D and good special teams. That formula wins Super Bowls. The reins can be loosened for JP in Year 2, then further loosened in year 3. Thats called maturing as a QB and player. As long as JP doesn't lose the game for us and progresses from game-to-game (which, in my opinion, he has done), I'm fine with a subpar statistical day. Thats how Big Ben became good and also Brady.

Don't buy anything and in 3 years they will switch back.

What are you talking about? They paint your car when you run a red light? Here in NYC they have a few camera-red lights, send you a ticket (no points) in the mail if they get you, but I never heard of paint.

I was on the floor for the GNR concert as weel. Great show. One of the worst things I saw was in the parking lot. We were walking into the stadium and all of a sudden smelled something awful...burning plastic? Some Canadians (I b/c of the license plate) had slid their still hot carcoal grill underneath their car. The heat from the grill had set the car ablaze and the OPFD was rushing to the scene. The plastic bumper and fender on the car was actually melting as it blazed. FD put the thing out, we went to watch the game. On the way out we walk past the car....3 drunk and stupid looking Canadians with looks of disbelief and horror on their faces as they are staring at their car...truly precious!! They won that week's Darwin award.
