  1. Sorry - I don't think he's a leader. 18 pass td's in 24 games - 23 starts. I don't see a "warrior " here. Taking "command" in the 4th quarter to try for a comeback against slack, prevent defenses doesn't impress. I don't follow the upcoming collegians that much. If there is an acclaimed QB when they draft in Rnd 1, they should do so. Why not take the chance? What's to lose anyway?
  2. Buffalo B'gals! Oh... that Demon alcohol!
  3. I'm confused...is he getting 8.7 million dollars in yearly salary? After any re-signing bonus?
  4. Or an increasing number of people who look at the avarice of the Gang of 32, An NFL leadership that tirelessly works to extract the last drops of profitable blood from anybody and anything that happens their way, the prima donna players regularly lifting their legs on the rest of us, their disdainful actions and their union that restricts membership, a system of FA that has players showing the loyalty of a flea unless another buck gets deposited. Or going to a game, paying the price for a ticket, parking, thier concessions and then watching and suffering the results of a certain number of others there that feel that their ticket purchase entitles them to verbally and physically abuse others...scream, shout, stand up all game long - claiming it is their right to fu*k the other paying customers and if you don't like it well come on I'll pound your face because you're no fan... There are reasons to attend, but there are also plenty of reasons not to attend an NFL game...
  5. I suspect it's common building code - for obvious reasons.
  6. That back turning is the norm when a QB plants the ball into a running back. PA is useful today when a QB has a good "sell" move dropping back, when you have a back with respected hands, recievers that come back or are quick to get open short etc. Having a LH qb helps. You can run all the PA you like if your OL can execute a whiff of Hank Stram's "moving pocket" and your QB has some lateral movement skills, even if he's not a particularly good faker.
  7. Gee...he makes what? Unknown K a year yakking about a game, plus benefits, rubs up with players, travels free, gets free eats, free carousing, free boozing, puts his peepers on eye-popping women, road housing better than a Motel 6. Who do I PO to get all that?
  8. Increasingly, folks are realizing that the NFL has no clothes...
  9. Nor would I. It's been a chronic passing league for some time. It's time to give picking a TE a shot. What's to lose after so many years of not playing in January? Nuthin!
  10. Food snob... And keep God out of it...
  11. I'm sure they are amazing. Been on the market for a while. I'm also sure they have set up a shell corporation for that with zero assets to avoid totally valid liability claims.
  12. I liked Avenue, just off of Hertel. But try the new frozen offerings. DeGiornio broke the mold in years ago - made frozen pizzas pretty good - but they've gone to the garlic dark side, unfortunately. I recommend the Tombstone brand...$4.50 to $3.50 price depending on on-sale price. Easy to cook - buy a 6-buck aluminum perforated pizza pan, plop it on - 15 - 18 minutes in a pre-heated 400F oven. Give one a try - you might find that that high horse you are sitting on, declaring yourself a pizza gourmand of the first rank, falls into the toilet when you find yourself still burping with satisfaction and saving 10 bucks...
  13. None. Folks attending camp are hopeful, not like the certain percentage of a stadium crowd filled with booze or drugs and bent on venting abuse because of their own - manifold - worthlessness.
  14. Brady earns his "bread and butter" passes because he's pretty good at avoiding the rush - keeping eyes straight ahead, and detecting a receiver cutting in the over in the middle. A concert between him and receivers. It's an effective system. He can throw long, he can hit the sidelines. Fans may despise him. I think he's one heck of a tactician. He absolutely dictates to the other 10 offensive players. Reminds me of several through the years - perhaps Stabler, as an example.
  15. Most pre-seasons since '04, and at the end of a regular season when the Colts have a spot locked up. He knows the playbook. Like NE's* Cassel.
  16. Condolences to PSU. The db's...ouch.
  17. Where do you boat? Yough? New? Cheat?
  18. Yup. Here in OH, the idiot voters passed a minimum wage statewide thing with a yearly escalator clause. When it rose - above that of the federal increased rate - employment dropped, businesses closed. Restaurant prices rose. The grocery store I usually patronize has already raised prices - I pay attention. Result - less commerce, less tax grab by the various governments (no wage or benefit reduction for government employees though). So our governor speaks of increased taxes - including their favorite punching bag, a smoker (4th largest source of State income, all the while descrying the health effects and spewing those phony cost-to-society estimates. If that was actually true, he should ban the sale of that legal product in the state of Ohio).
  19. I agree. Especially when playing at home. Not to the point of taking gratitutous cheap shots so the perp can pound his chest - but taking shots to rev up the team, to send a message that yeah we might well be beat but you'll remember us. Next time. PGH has done this for years - even when they had podunk teams, they came at opponents hard. It's worked out well for them through the years. Bring the battle to the enemy...
  20. ...is your breathtaking capacity to spew venal hatred.
  21. Thanks for the info. Looks like 'Bama's OT Smith won't play. A crawler during the Capital One game said it's alleged he had contact with an agent, so the team will not let him play.
  22. I agree.
  23. The 2009 Buffalo Bills: 3 yards and a cloud of Russ.
  24. Thanks. I checked Spike - the same crawler was running.
