  1. Being vindictive isn't a good character trait...
  2. Could be worse. You could be booked on a trans-continental flight in the middle seat between Ann Coulter and Rachel Maddow.
  3. Makes me think of the Weather Channel. I think their make-up arrives in shrink-wrapped pallet quantities.
  4. May God bless and help...
  5. Well, since I am stuck here in cincy, watching the train wreck since 1990, I can give comment on Fiztpatrick: Adequate arm. Decent accuracy...seldom launches a low toss. Has overthrown on long streak routes. Quick on the uptake. If nothing's there and he sees a run path, he takes off. And does it well - goes for extra rush yards if he thinks he's not going to get killed. He strives for the 1st down. He's really little more than a rookie, so a canny defense can zap him. I haven't seen much play fake ability. He's not an inherent fumbler - his drops are under duress. No hesitancy about going long. Tends to look left on long shots, right on short passes. TJ Housh's nose for getting into the play helps him. No leadership problems. Whatever skill deficiencies he has, he commands the offense. It's my belief that on occasion, he ignores plays sent in by the B'gals idiot OC Bob Bratkowski. Overall - I rate him a work in progress, with potential.
  6. Harsh question. I'd go with Coulter, because my suspicion is she would be down 'n dirty, kinda like a Tonya Harding.
  7. Excellent! That has the makings of a fine buzz word.
  8. All hail Ball State! http://www.sportsline.com/collegefootball/...0106_TLS@BALLST
  9. A politician jumping in front of a popular parade - good gosh!
  10. He was appointed by the standing Governor of Illinois according to law. That wrinkle of requiring a Ill. State of Sec. signature is quaint, with no US Constitutional basis. He should be seated. "Amendment 17 - Senators Elected by Popular Vote. Ratified 4/8/1913. The Senate of the United States shall be composed of two Senators from each State, elected by the people thereof, for six years; and each Senator shall have one vote. The electors in each State shall have the qualifications requisite for electors of the most numerous branch of the State legislatures. When vacancies happen in the representation of any State in the Senate, the executive (note the singular) authority of such State shall issue writs of election to fill such vacancies: Provided, That the legislature of any State may empower the executive (singular) thereof to make temporary appointments until the people fill the vacancies by election as the legislature may direct. This amendment shall not be so construed as to affect the election or term of any Senator chosen before it becomes valid as part of the Constitution.". Harry and Nancy are trying to dance out of a pr nightmare. Too bad.
  11. Yep. Gotta keep him until they have equivalent or better. I don't see such.
  12. The inexpensive, fine-grained popcorn salt is tops. It really makes a difference.
  13. I'll never put one of those ugly dishes on my property that would make my domicile look like it was occupied by trailer park queens.
  14. You are a good poster that I respect, H2o. Best we leave discussion to another day, another venue...
  15. Well, after all, Democrats = Jim Crow. I suppose one could read history...perhaps the Hayes-Tilden election. Unless it's about getting votes....
  16. Nice post, as good as any since it's all speculation now...
  17. I'd look for CIN to grab one from the OL pool before BUF picks. For their last 5 games, LT was manned by a 4th round rookie, LG by a PS'er. Franchise player RT Stacey Andrews went down in game 15 with serious right knee injury. Their C is strictly so-so. Good games, bad games. Long time starter LT Levi Jones has been in and out for the past few years (knee). My guess is that he's gone. He is also cranky, in case folks here would like to have him sign with BUF - the start of the '07 season, he was crying tears about how he wasn't being appreciated. He owns a 1.4 million dollar Bugatti Veyron. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bugatti_Veyron Poor baby. QB Palmer's contract is so immense, his cap cost so high, they have to pull out all the stops to keep the OL in shape.
  18. Hey Pop!...are you still mad at me for pointing out that people routinely use CPS as a tool for harassment?
  19. Very good. I have one of those Whirly-Pop poppers that I use occasionally, with the "Movie Popcorn" product they hawk. It's really authentic - coconut oil with saturated fat numbers that drops the jaw. I found Jiffy Pop to be a good approximation. We usually consume Orville Reddenbacher's 94% microwave stuff. Give Jiffy Pop a try - just be sure to use care in opening it so you don't damage the foil, and follow the instructions religiously. $1.59 at Meijer's grocery store.
  20. How is he in the 10 yard or less pass zone?
  21. You're not a kid anymore at age 22 or 23. You should be an adult, and act the way an adult does. Like knowing how to comport oneself in general society.
  22. Who are these people?
