Why Josh Allen is not a "one hit wonder"
PromoTheRobot replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I put that lack of faith in Josh Allen to practical use last year with my Draft Kings betting app. Thanks to NH finally allowing legal sports wagering. Since betting lines are based on what bettors think, the Bills and individual Bills players were constantly undervalued, which offered some amazing no-brainer bets that paid off consistently. -

Preseason atmosphere
PromoTheRobot replied to DisplacedBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
With only one game this year, against an attractive opponent, it should be a great atmosphere. Traditionally the 3rd game is the best one for seeing starters. But not sure how that plays out this year with only 3 games. -
List of Bills QBs during the Desolation

Too many quick-fixes and shortcuts. Combined with less-than-stellar coaching and front offices. -

$1.1B for what will be a clone of the current stadium sounds incredibly high. Minneapolis built their glass-roofed palace US Bank Stadium right in downtown for the same price 5 years ago. In OP there would be no land acquisition costs. You could also put part of the stadium in the ground which would save some money too. A PS&E spokesman said that figure was incorrect, but did not indicate if it was too high or too low.

But they really need to make some improvements to the game day experience. This year Worcester, Mass opened Polar Park. A new Triple-A downtown stadium for the Worcester Red Sox (or Woo Sox.) I am so blown away by what they did with it. So many simple ideas that are awesome yet no one ever did to that level. For one thing, open concourses where you can see the field while getting concessions. Plus high top tables all along to sit an eat at instead of your seat. They have mini convenience stores where you walk in, grab a beer or soda, or packaged food and check yourself out in no time. Most of the concessions are local Worcester food places like Coney Island Dogs and BT BBQ. Beer gardens for several local breweries, a grass berm with a playground in the outfield where kids can run around. Not everything is appropriate for football but the idea remains: make the stadium more than a seat and a place to piss. Open it all up so people can mill around. Give them good stuff to spend money on. In general, make it a party to go to a game. It's dumb to only give the club seat buyers an upgraded experience.
