Our last possession of the first half - EJ sacked on 1st down and we still hurry up to a quick 3 and out....Jets call time out on 4th down and end up getting 3 points before half. They need to be smart with the up tempo attack. No way they should have hurried up after that sack.

Searcy, Graham, Spiller, and Super Mario is super invisible against AFC East teams. Do we have a LB other than Alonso?

So you would rather have Jeff Tuel or Matt Lineart who doesn't know the offense as potential week 1 starters over Fitz? If EJ has any setback with his knee, you could have either of these two starting longer...There would have been nothing wrong with Fitz staying one more year at his high salary until EJ was up to speed, and until we got a legitimate number 2 QB. Tuel might be the long term number 2 QB - but it is a bit too soon to tell for sure. One good thing about Fitz is his durability. The guy isn't a piece of glass like Kolb.

The way he played against the Vikings it was as though he was emulating Trent Edwards. If he wore number 5, I would have thought Trentative was back....

So many couldn't wait to see Fitz out of town....One good thing about him was his durability, and he could certainly help us now...Chalk up another failure for our great front office. Kevin Kolb was done long before he landed here. Get well soon EJ....we need ya!

Can't make this judgement by the first preseason game. Coach said Hackett should have called more go routes. I'm not worried about this staff being conservative. Wait and see what happens the first few regular seaon games....

How many of his 10 sacks were against AFC East teams? He had a bunch against the cards - and teams with horrid O-lines. What did he do to help us win within the division? The guy is one of the most overrated players in the NFL. Last year his wrist was his excuse, now he suddenly has a sore foot to whine about.
