I had a friend who was a doctor; so he has studied the core sciences throughout his life, which he now uses in his profession every day. We got into this long conversation about evolution and he being a born again Christian would not accept the science behind the age of the Earth nor evolution. It was bizarre. A day later he nonchalantly dropped a book on my desk written by a Christian author debunking geological evidence and other science to prove that stories in the Bible are literal. He also told me that since I wasn’t Christian and didn’t accept Jesus, I was doomed to hell fire, even if I was a decent human being even by Christian standards.

Unless this is another curve thrown at us by the producers, Aaron counts. Obviously the "Oceanic 6" is a clever term coined by the media for the survivors. Aaron wasn’t on the passenger list but was technically alive on the plane. And all 6 miraculously came out of the crash. And wasn't there a promo after last week's episode that said "the final member of the Oceanic 6 will be revealed."

Great post. Thanks for the link. I'd told my wife during the episode that Jin’s story was a flashback and Sun’s was the future – lots of clues. And of course Jin is not dead. He’s still on the island. The Oceanic 6 has to keep everything hush hush and even go through the motions (e.g. visiting graves) to fool the world into thinking they don’t know anything about the island. They’re obviously protecting the island. The real question is why? Are they all now in line with Ben and against Widmore? Wouldn’t disclosing the island to the world allow them to get their friends back? Or is Ben blackmailing them with the threat of killing their friends?

Do you have audio output jacks from the TV (I'd be very surprised if you didn't). If so, try connecting some external speakers to the audio out via audio wires. If you get sound, then you know it's a problem with the internal speakers.

From the Palm Beach Post: Undercover officers spotted a dark-blue Ford sport utility vehicle stopped at Frederick Small Boulevard and Military Trail at about midnight. The transmission was in drive and the engine was running, officers said. LaRussa had his foot on the brake but did not initially respond to repeated knocking on the window, police said. After repeated knocks, LaRussa woke up. An officer administered a roadside sobriety test after noticing the smell of alcohol, police said. The police report said he had been given a field sobriety test that showed La Russa's blood alcohol level was 0.093. Florida law considers 0.080 driving under the influence. He gave two breath samples at Palm Beach County Jail before being booked. The charge is a misdemeanor, and La Russa posted a $500 bond. Way to set an example Tony!
