  1. Sideshow Bob informs us the Giants got LB Micah McFadden.
  2. He'll be inside. And they didn't trade up in round 2 to get him. I HOPE he turns out like Ford, now.
  3. Funeral? Bills on clock. Please take one of Gunner's guys.
  4. Darian Kinnard. KC does it right again.
  5. Disingenuous how? You are presuming I view Elam as being in a clear-cut 2nd tier with McDuffie behind Gardner and Stingley and a first-round talent, which few did, but Beane was apparently one of those. So be it. But placing these specific players aside, the vast consensus on the draft as far as depth goes, is as I spelled it out. Not superstar-heavy at the top, strong rounds 2 to 4, sparse after that. Beane minimized draft value in rounds 2 to 4. You can debate if that's where the strength of the draft lies, but that's incontrovertible. If Beane painted himself into a corner leaving a void at CB and getting screwed at 3rd down back, that's on him. Watching useful players come off one after the other after botching out of a position to get them is galling.
  6. But, most people projected the strength of the draft to be late first through fourth round, with a lot of similarly graded players graded throughout. Beane minimized the Bills impact by trading the 4th for a questionable move up, trading down the 2nd for picks outside the sweet spot, and reaching on picks. And there goes Calvin Austin to the Steelers, a team that just does it right on draft day.
  7. This is pretty much all the sleeper prospects TSW has been hoping on all year ending up going to every other team that needs them to close the gap with the Bills. Joshua Williams to KC being the latest example.
  8. By virtue of picking late, the Bills have to get a feel for which round the position run is going to start and get in at the end of the previous round. Elam, the way they're talking about him as "we'll train him up and he'll start sometime this year" which is what you normally say about Day 2 guys. And to move up for him... I don't know. Cook feels like a reach taken a round early to patch the hole McKissic left, as the RB run came in the 4th. Might have been able to get him in their spot in the 3rd, and if not there would still have been a lot of options. Bernard, I feel like they might have targeted for the 4th, but because they felt the need to move up in the 1st they no longer had the pick. Would have been a good place to trade out for a couple of Baltimore's 4's maybe, but then you leave Brandt holding his Zubaz with nothing to do, and he'd probably slag Beane every morning from now till doomsday, and Pegula would freak out at that kind of bad PR, so they reached at least a round and maybe 2.
  9. The Blue Man Group has raided Carrot Top's garage. Why are they there? Oh! Those are semaphores. I thought they might be something else. The "run" on backs is on. In Round 4.
  10. Browns take a kicker in the 4th, and Eisen may need to join Sarcasmaholics Anonymous. Dolphins get a guy on video to take Ezukanma in their native language.
  11. That is some legit heel heat, Kyle.
  12. Jets have hired an assistant for when Gardner gets lost between the locker room and the field:
  13. Jimmy Spags will never get the AFC East! I don't care how many d**o g****a w*p greaseball goombahs come out of the woodwork!
  14. Daxton Hill to Bengals is a nice get for them.
  15. McDuffie and Karlaftis, get you some short-arm guys on D, KC!
  16. The Pats' pick was... odd.
  17. Both from Georgia too. Hope it works out like Nelson and Ruud for them.
  18. The worst part of it is, the player that is their perfect fit seems to always follow them on their trade-downs.
  19. Leaving that void at CB obviated taking BPA, I don't believe for a moment Lloyd didn't have a R1 grade.
  20. Jermaine Johnson's suit matches Levi Wallace's underwear. Was he thinking the Steelers were gonna take him? He's a black and gold Rorschach Test.
  21. Just don't see Elam being that much differentiated from the tier of corners left on the board. Would have been pleased with Daxton and they may wish they'd taken Lloyd after another season of lack of playmaking from the second level.
  22. Welp. That's quite a non-bold move. More like a chicken move. Don't love it, but can't argue with the roster-building of the regime.
  23. OOOOOOHHHHH! Edmunds for 23, take Lloyd? Poyer+ for 23, take Daxton? I would be flabbergasted but wow wow that would be bold.
  24. And as predictable as ever, production truck says "Bills on clock, go to commercial"
  25. Why would the Bills do that? Cost of a 4th maybe?
