  1. Doesn't look to be a strong traits player. Relatively short arms, small hands, 4.54, 6' 195-ish. Physical, productive. Sounds a lot like Dane Jackson's scouting report tbh.
  2. Buffalo pick at 185 is... . . . . . . in.
  3. Now picture the Dolphins running Tyreek back to field a punt late in the game. Would you kick to him, try something directional, or just start 'em from the 20? Beavers to the Jints, nice pick by Schoen.
  4. You might be on to something here. The Bills plan to score so much they will need to use a rotation on kickoffs to keep them fresh, just like on DL.
  5. Beane had to settle for the project kick holder who moonlights a little as a punter.
  6. I like those teachers of Las Vegas and their pompoms.
  7. With his range and length I don't see him [ed. Tycen Anderson] as a box-only. Could be that's just what he was asked at Toledo.
  8. Tycen Anderson to the Bungles as they corner the safety market.
  9. This stuff right here. This is the match to the Bills O and the danger they bring from extended and off-scripts plays with Allen.
  10. Tampa grabs Zyon McCollum. Another RAS freak.
  11. Let's assume one of those for the punter. Feels like they stay put and see what comes to them.
  12. Why is Weezer using Winger's logo?
  13. Woolen to Seattle. Surprised he slid this far with his RAS and combine, rare traits guy.
  14. Hope Salyer, Woolen or McKinley make it a little farther. Turner-Yell to Denver.
  15. Falcons get a guy from a cabin at Stone Mountain to announce the pick.
  16. We give the fifth round pick back to you... the People! TSW flash poll determines the selection
  17. Sideshow Bob informs us the Giants got LB Micah McFadden.
  18. He'll be inside. And they didn't trade up in round 2 to get him. I HOPE he turns out like Ford, now.
  19. Funeral? Bills on clock. Please take one of Gunner's guys.
  20. Darian Kinnard. KC does it right again.
  21. Disingenuous how? You are presuming I view Elam as being in a clear-cut 2nd tier with McDuffie behind Gardner and Stingley and a first-round talent, which few did, but Beane was apparently one of those. So be it. But placing these specific players aside, the vast consensus on the draft as far as depth goes, is as I spelled it out. Not superstar-heavy at the top, strong rounds 2 to 4, sparse after that. Beane minimized draft value in rounds 2 to 4. You can debate if that's where the strength of the draft lies, but that's incontrovertible. If Beane painted himself into a corner leaving a void at CB and getting screwed at 3rd down back, that's on him. Watching useful players come off one after the other after botching out of a position to get them is galling.
  22. But, most people projected the strength of the draft to be late first through fourth round, with a lot of similarly graded players graded throughout. Beane minimized the Bills impact by trading the 4th for a questionable move up, trading down the 2nd for picks outside the sweet spot, and reaching on picks. And there goes Calvin Austin to the Steelers, a team that just does it right on draft day.
  23. This is pretty much all the sleeper prospects TSW has been hoping on all year ending up going to every other team that needs them to close the gap with the Bills. Joshua Williams to KC being the latest example.
  24. By virtue of picking late, the Bills have to get a feel for which round the position run is going to start and get in at the end of the previous round. Elam, the way they're talking about him as "we'll train him up and he'll start sometime this year" which is what you normally say about Day 2 guys. And to move up for him... I don't know. Cook feels like a reach taken a round early to patch the hole McKissic left, as the RB run came in the 4th. Might have been able to get him in their spot in the 3rd, and if not there would still have been a lot of options. Bernard, I feel like they might have targeted for the 4th, but because they felt the need to move up in the 1st they no longer had the pick. Would have been a good place to trade out for a couple of Baltimore's 4's maybe, but then you leave Brandt holding his Zubaz with nothing to do, and he'd probably slag Beane every morning from now till doomsday, and Pegula would freak out at that kind of bad PR, so they reached at least a round and maybe 2.
