  1. Jeremiah mocks Drake London at #10 to NYJ to play Big Slot. That will be a novel offense with Berrios at Small Slot and Moore at Regular Slot. I’m not going to put a lot of stock in his knowledge of team needs in general, or the Bills in particular.
  2. Might need that safe after all…
  3. As an OL prospect, Ford has been much more of sinker than a floater.
  4. Another good compilation. Apart from the punt-catching and defenders falling, look at the separation he gains at the top of the routes. That’s what the guy with “uncoverable inside 10 yards” comment pages back was alluding to. The question will be, will he and Allen read zones the way Allen and Beasley did, that would be nearly unstoppable. Crowder always destroyed man coverage like Beasley never did.
  5. Kind of reinforces my impression of him. Very effective slot guy, very sharp on his cuts as evidenced by the number of defensive players falling over themselves at the top of his routes. First down machine. If the Bills get the Crowder who plays against the Bills they lose nothing in the slot from 2020 and upgrade over 2021.
  6. depends what was for dinner last night… this is kind of a consolation prize but it’s going to be Duke or moss I think. There’s a number of draftable prospects for the JDM role.
  7. Agree with most of above but I think they like Doyle for swing.
  8. I’m hoping the personnel turnover points to Dorsey’s offensive philosophy being one that doesn’t predispose to a tendency based on personnel grouping. The ability to attack with run or pass, short or deep, from each package makes the offense very difficult to defend.
  9. I guess the Bills held out for Keenum? The other QB there, 7th would have been an overpayment lol.
  10. Couple teams though Keenum was a long-term answer. Until he wasn’t. But short-term he can give you a chance.
  11. AJ actually has sudden-ness off the line but fails to press his advantage due to either lack of strength or lack of technique. If it's more the latter, then this is the guy I would expect Miller's leadership to influence most positively.
  12. It lacks the flourish of "computer-designed CRISPR-edited lab-grown bioengineered homunculus QB superunit" but it's succinct.
  13. In the off-season Rex cannot be defeeted.
  14. The Bills may have tipped their hand offering the contract to McKissic, Cook is pretty much exactly that, but with 4.42 speed.
  15. So the Rams crossed out “Von Miller” on the check and scribbled in “Allen Robinson”?
  16. You guys reminded me to dig thru the boxes in the garage for that Bills #40 Miller jersey.
  17. If Beasley Bucks can bring in a vet at CB, then a WR sticking out on the board at 25 becomes more palatable, yes.
  18. Teams that don’t adjust get passed by. I think we got a look at where Dorsey is headed on O adding players that are chess pieces who can line up in multiple roles. The Howard signing allowing 12 formations where a TE can split for passing or stay inline for the run. McKenzie being less of a dedicated slot guy than Beasley, who can run jets or attack downfield with speed. The presumptive McKissic signing of a triple-threat back to thwart shells and attack any voids underneath with run or pass. That last piece is still missing on the roster. Patterson could fit the role if the numbers can work. Or in the draft, I know Breece Hall is the hot name but a guy like Georgia’s James Cook who slides into rd 4 might actually be the better fit; if you thought McKissic was the answer to begin with, he’s basically McKissic with a 4.4 instead of 4.6.
  19. It’s always darkest once the dusk settles. So by inference, Miller will make the players on the Bills DL better, right? If he’s being overpaid by giving him the money that used to go to Hughes and Addison, that’s still a subjective opinion that’s going to be governed by results. I don’t think you can make that claim based on the comps in this FA period. If 3/52 is the going rate for Chandler then it’s the going rate for a guy like Von too. Running an argument one way but not the other diminishes the point. Sort of like mixing metaphors. It bottles the mind.
  20. Yeah but can he ride a horse standing?
  21. so why don’t you make like a tree and get outta here?
  22. By the time I read one page on this thread there’s two additional unread pages.
  23. So essentially 7.5m/per season more than Hughes made last season. If you think he’s that much more a difference maker, yeah ok. Still digesting this.
  24. Per Spotrac 2 years $4m per season for Wallace (2 years $7.1m per season for Trubisky)
